I got the pulled pork slope. PULLED PORK,COLLARD GREENS ON TOP OF A CORN FRITTER. It was delicious and a lot of food. My husband ordered the rib plate, and he enjoyed it. The service was great. Our server was April. Very sweet and professional. The place was clean. Love the country home feel, and the food was good and reasonably priced.

The BBQ was fantastic. I got some ribs, brisket, and chicken. Everything was great, but I really liked the chicken paired with white bbq sauce. The chicken was really juicy.

Hidden gem of lucedale! Had a wonderful meal here! Only complaint is that there was too much food!! And our server fixed that easily with to go containers. Ordered the “little bit of everything”… yeah its a lot of everything! That dish will feed at least 4 people! The burnt ends were my favorite, followed by the pimento cheese dip.. the dip was smoky and savory! The boiled peanuts were a great addition as well. The sausage, and brisket were both top notch. My favorite thing about the place was the sauces. Not only were they very tasty… they were in 1 quart squeeze bottles at the table, so you could use as much or as little as you want. The white BBQ sauce was really good as well. The banana pudding is good if you have room.. (I didn’t) I’ll definitely be back!

Got a lot of variety of food for not a crazy price, they were out of the sausage so I got to switch to burnt ends..not so much burnt ends as dried BBQ jerky. Server was sweet and wonderful, will go back, but will not order that again but the brisket is worth it to drive there again! And I loved the peanuts.

Food & Atmosphere is fantastic! Brisket and sausage plates are very very good along with the amazing sides. Service, not so much! We waited at least 15 min for our drinks after being seated and having to ask for them. Only forks were given with the meal as we asked for a knife to cut our meat up, and there were no knives available, butter knives are just not acceptable. But overall the food & atmosphere is excellent. A neat lil place in lucedale!

Start off on a Friday night they were out of most of their meats. It smelled so good when we walk to the door that we were going to eat there anyways even though our choices were going to be limited. For 15 minutes and they still did not even offer to get us a drink which is ridiculous because if there was hardly nobody in the building anymore. We felt like they were trying to get us to leave which is why they didn’t offer to drink so somebody let their boss no because that’s bad for business.

My boyfriend and I stopped by to get takeout here, and this place is so cute and delicious. The staff was very friendly, and they even have daily specials where they feature and off menu item. We tried all the sauces, spicy bbq, original and the white bbq, the spicy was my favorite. I got the animal house, with all the meats on it and he got the Mac daddy, and the Mac n cheese on that sandwich was amazing. The pickles are homemade and you need to order extra lol.
