Best Mexican food outside of Texas so far. My wife and I are medical travelers from Texas and are trying multiple different Mexican food places across the country. This place ranks very high, even against the Texas standards. The food was all seasoned properly, prepared with all traditional garnishes and sauces, and served promptly. I had a very large “top shelf” margarita that went well with my fajitas, which were served on a sizzling plate, steamy and delicious. Overall, this place is a “must” try for all of you.

My husband and I order almost weekly, and we are never disappointed! It’s the highlight of our week. We did dine in once, but we found it a little loud for us, so we choose takeout. Their service is amazing! The wonderful young lady who takes my order knows me by name now, so I feel extra special. We’ve tried the other Mexican restaurants in town, but they simply don’t compare. The steak fajita burrito is hands down the best thing I’ve eaten.

Chips/salsa were REALLY good, even got a refill on the chips! The table was clean, decor was fun, good background music, waiter was friendly and attentive, the chicken quessadilla and the rice were excellent. Nice environment for a date. Will return!

Had looked online at the menu, looked very reasonable. But then looking at the menu the prices at the restaurant were quite a bit higher. We came in around 2:30 pm, maybe it wasn’t the lunch menu? The person said when we first came in about a special on margaritas, we thought that meant a special, what it meant was a special margarita that cost $18.99 because of the tequila they used? It was a great margarita but i still would have enjoyed one with run of the mill tequila. Got the chimichanga and it was very good, very quick service. Was charged extra for rice? Also had to ask for more sour cream because it was very small the amount we both got. Was charged for that too. Bill was confusing, added up on an adding machine so we didn’t know what price was for what. You can’t push a margarita that cost almost $20 and not say, hey it is nearly $20, felt a bit ripped off. Service good, food good, pricing not so great. Never paid so much for an alcoholic drink in my life.

I love this place! Reminds me of my neighborhood in New Mexico I grew up in. Neighbors cooking tastes exactly like the food here! Yummy and delicious but don’t take my word for it try it!

I’ve heard about Pulque for a few years now and although I don’t think I’ll ever get over the replacement of Smokey Duck or Slam burger, I was very surprised by how good this place was.

The food was really good and at a reasonable price. Wasn’t too crowded for a Wednesday lunch rush time. There is a small fee for using a credit card but that’s not unusual nowadays. Planning on going back soon!
