In my quest to find even more authentic Mexican food in East Texas I ended up here. I will say this was some of the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in the Tyler area. Why the three stars well? There was only two staff members working. One in the back kitchen area and one working in the front. This led to a longer wait time and was a bit annoying. Regardless of that I got my food to go.

Ate Breakfast Parillada from the drive thru for my breakfast this morning with the eggs over medium – very tasty and easily enough for two, though I confess I ate it all – good amount of nopales (neither too much nor too little, so flavorful but not overpowering) in the mix – very pleased with quality and friendly service

I came in an hour or so before closing… on a Tuesday. It wasn’t busy. There was a table about to leave and a table who looked like they had just ordered food. Luckily I got my order in before the family of two came in together and overwhelmed the teenage boy who waits on the tables. He seemed shy and a bit timid so I didn’t care to much that he put more of his focus on the bigger table. Their mat outside the door tended to slide easily so you have to be careful coming in. Alongside the wall where you park there was a bottle of modelo and a bottle of Jager broken on the ground (idk where it came from but be careful if you have children and are walking along side that wall. It wasn’t busy when I came in but alot of the tables were dirty… cleaned off but still crummy and you could see greese everything from people’s hands. Just all around dirty.. but the food was good and the boy was kind. The place could use a deep clean or something. My go to place would have to be closed for me to come back here. I wouldn’t mind going throught drive through for their charrow beans though! That was top tier!

Excellent authentic Mexican food! Great salsa, homemade tortillas…. I recommend the Chipotle chicken! We were all thoroughly impressed!! I can’t say it enough. You have to try this place!! It’s not tex mex, it’s real Mexican food!!
