I have been here a total of 3 times and have enjoyed my experience every single time. It’s never too crowded that it’s uncomfortable. The food is good, the drinks are great and they play good music and they also have hookah. I always recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good ambiance, good music and good service. Our server, Lynette was very attentive and even gave us her favorite drink recommendation from the menu.

I had high expectations coming in, as I followed them on instagram and the deals seemed great! The bartender was friendly and brought out free popcorn which are topped with a chili-lime powder. Unfortunately, the margarita was okay. A little too sweet, not really strong, but since it was taco Tuesday, they had the free marg deal, so I technically didn’t have to pay for it. I then tried a frozen margarita to see if it was any better, but it was served already half watered down, not that thick frozen consistency that most frozen margaritas have. Flavor wise, it was also okay, nothing special about it, didn’t leave me wanting more. Lastly, the tacos- while they do serve them with a lot of meat and topping, the onions are thick, and they only serve them on ONE tortilla, instead of two, so as a result it’s hard to even pick up the taco and fold it or hold it for the matter, without the tortilla immediately getting soggy and falling apart. The atmosphere- really hot indoors even with the AC being on, so it’s really stuffy and there weren’t even that many people when I went since it was a weekday at noon. Overall, probably wouldn’t go back.

I went on Tuesday and to my delight it was Taco Tuesday! This was the perfect place to come! They had sales on the tacos and you were allowed to mix them, so I was able to taste a wide variety of tacos. I had birria, carnitas, bang bang shrimp, and the fried chicken one. I also had the churrogasmo and it was to die for! Absolutely amazing, but if you are counting your calories, I suggest that you share because it’s a huge dessert! Tiny the bartender was amazing and very attentive, her energy was magnetic and she was a great server. I will definitely be coming back to try their brunch!

The drinks were so-so. Either too sweet or too strong with an odd taste. The food was not good at all! The shrimp Taco had so much cheese it was greasy. (I believe it was MozzarellaCheese at that) There was literally 2 shrimp per Taco. Not seasoned AT ALL. Not worth the price for $19. The so called Pico de Gallo was just tomatos and Onions. The avacado was bland. Very disappointing. The restaurant itself is cute minus whatever that is they have hanging by the bathroom. I also don’t care for the bathroom being Co-ed. I went I tried I won’t be returning.

I had higher expectations after reading the reviews but wow is this place mid…The food is just not good. Lacking flavor and everything is absurdly overpriced. The lack of communication and professionalism of the staff alone is not worth the time. We were always missing something and it took for us to flag the server multiple times until they came to us. Management seems messy and we were within earshot of awkward communications between the staff. With so many AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurants in NY, spend your money elsewhere.
