First time going here with family, the food was fantastic. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich that came with fries and for desert the bread pudding. The food was amazing and customer service was excellent. The server was extremely friendly and I also had the chance to meet the owner she was very welcoming. Definitely plan to come back soon.

We ate here last night, and WOW!!! The food was absolutely amazing. I had the special, prime rib dip sandwich and fries, my husband had the pimento burger, both were outstanding!! This is the only time I can remember ever finishing a meal in a restaurant and not having to take leftovers home. It was so good it would have been a crime not to finish it while it was fresh and warm! Service was also attentive and friendly, and the drinks were well made and tasty! Definitely recommend checking out Donna’s on Main!!

we’re visiting from out of town and decided to try this place. our waitress/service was good unlike the other reviews but the food was 4/10. they claim everything is homemade but it tastes like heat and serve. we got calamari to start and it was very soggy. the sauce it came with was the only thing saving it. our drinks from the bar came in dirty glasses but we didn’t say anything. i got a cheesesteak and fries which i found to be very good. my friend got the daily special which was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and an additional side of his choosing (broccoli). he took one bite of the meatloaf and potatoes and had to send it back. the meatloaf lacked flavor the potatoes were cold. broccoli did not look fresh. the gravy looked like steak sauce. i hope this place can turn it around.

Stopped at this place because the one we wanted to go is out of business. We seated ourselves and the waitress came quickly. Food arrived fast but it’s also close to closing time. Potato sup was ok but not as hot as I wanted. I ordered a fish I never had before. Rise was a bit to aldente and the burger was overcooked. The server was nice, refilled the drinks quick and came few time to check on us.

Our first, but definitely not last, visit to eat at Donna’s. Had the soft shell crab sandwich with a side salad. It was marvelous. Could taste the freshness in both dishes. Husband had a delicious club on panini. Great casual atmosphere that draws in locals and visitors. Went on a Monday at 3pm. Seated ourselves. Quick friendly servers. Found easy street parking. Wish we had room for dessert as choices looked really tempting. Maybe next time! Almost forgot the extremely tasty calamari with yummy dipping sauce.

Service was great and so was the food, although the pricing made it difficult to justify returning.

Took 1.5 hours to get our lunch order. The food was okay, but not hot. The atmosphere is nice. Interesting Easter tree.

First time dining at Donna’s. What was thought to be a great experience turned sour quickly. Once seated, my table was told someone would be with us .. waited and waited. A woman came around and said she’d be right with us, never came back. This woman did eventually make her way back to our table only to place napkins/silverware on the able saying “you’ll be needing these soon” and walks away. No drink orders were asked/given and she hadn’t even taken our food order yet saying we would need silverware. All menus were literally on the table still and she failed to do her job as a waitress. To the extent of the bartender having to come from around the bar after awhile asking if someone had gotten us drinks. Of course the answer was no. The bartender ended up taking care of our table because who knows where the waitress went.

Apparently, this is Kilmarnock’s place to be, and place to be seen, on Sunday early-afternoons. That’s when friends leave their church services together and head for Donna’s on Main. The menu is extensive and varied — you can enjoy a nice, filling meal for under $20.
