Have to say, customer service here is always topnotch. Got the chicken tenders (can’t go wrong with them… I’d say they beat Canes just because the gravy is better and you can get extra for no cost). I only gave it a 4 because the ice cream cones seem to be lacking these days. A medium looks like a small and a small looks like a kids cone and the ice cream is no longer that silky super white creamy ice cream. Not sure if they have changed ingredients but it was more like ice milk not ice cream.

We don’t often go inside Dairy Queen. We usually get a pretzel in the drive-thru. We decided to go in for a late lunch, around 330. We ordered a couple of burgers, my husband got fries and a drink with his, and I got cheese curd and a drink. It took 20 mins to get our food. Before that, we went to the coke freestyle machine to get our drinks, but I couldn’t get anything to drink because every non sugar soda was out. I told the cashier, and the cashier told the manager. The manager told me I would have to wait because she had to go to the bank. So I just got some water and waited the 20 mins for our food. Our food came and we were so disappointed. Both of our burgers we so overdone, they were hard. My cheese curds were cold and tasted like oil. My husband’s fires were cold and tasted like the freezer. We didn’t really eat our food, $30 down the drain. I decided to get a small twist cone, and they put it in a cup because it was so soft it was runny. Worst experience we have had there. Oh, the manager came back while I was waiting for my ice cream and said, “omg you’re still here, let me fix the machine for you,” and laughed. We just left.

I will never visit this place again. I sat at the drive through window for over 10 min watching them heat up all the food in a microwave. I got my food and headed home and everything was cold. Only thing that was worth the visit was the strawberry shake. But for the terrible food and service I can spend my money elsewhere. They even have the nerve to have a sign on drive through window saying please be patient with the workers. But how can you do that when you sit at the window and watch them have a good old time laughing and talking while it’s only one guy that is warming up all the hood. Bad service go else where and get better service for your money.

I lost my receipt that had my server’s name at the drive through, so I can’t mention her name, but she was so cheerful, she had a genuine smile and friendly character that’s hard to come by at fast food places here lately. I enjoyed her company for the few short minutes that I was at her window. She made my experience at Dairy Queen so pleasant!

DQ has some good deals and decent fast food. However, they don’t seem to have the advertisements that other chains do. I think DQ is better than McDonald’s, but their ads can’t compare with McDonald’s. Help’em out and stop by for a meal.

Had great expectations about trying their A1 burger until I saw that they had about 3 microwaves in view while at the drive thru window. I waited patiently while observing their workers and what I saw will ensure that I never return. There was a worker with a huge beard and no beard guard, workers touching EVERYTHING with their gloves and not changing them before making food, and microwave being used to heat EVERYTHING! So I recieved my food and pulled away to eat it. Upon opening the bag, I had a very small portion of fries( mostly sharp crispy pieces) and a burger that was obviously microwaved due to a rubbery texture. I paid over $12 for this meal and I have to say that it was not worth it. Rather then return for a refund, I decide to take a loss knowing that it would be my last visit to this establishment. I hope the other locations don’t do the same.
