Heard mixed reviews on Hansie from a few friends, but went yesterday after a business meeting. Hansie is located in downtown Williamstown which is currently being revitalized. Great decor and friendly staff. The menu is very basic Hamburger or Cheeseburger with or without fries. That’s it. Burgers are fresh and tasty. Fries are thick cut but not quite steak cut. Fries were excellent. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Close to the Ark as well. About $13-15.

This was an excellent burger! When you only serve one thing serve it WELL! They did! The cheeseburgers were juicy, soft, not overcooked or chewy. The toppings were all fresh and their “hansie sauce” was tasty too. The fries were great too. They were a thick cut fry, not steak fries. They were soft where they are supposed to be and crisp were in all the right places. Limited menu of burgers, fries, drinks, and shakes but everything was spot on!

Found this place with a quick Google search. Fun downtown look and feel. It was clean and and comfortable place to eat and talk with family. Very simple menu; burgers, fries, drinks, and shakes. I personally enjoyed the cheeseburger with everything on it. Burger was well cooked, juicy, and good burger cooked flavor. The extras on the burger: lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh and tasty. When all put together it was a good party in the mouth and the tummy enjoyed it as well. I did not get the shake but saw a few order them and they looked tasty but I can’t comment on the taste, although I regret not going back for it.

We went to the Ark and wanted a local restaurant and found this hamburger place. It is very nice the atmosphere is warm and the hand cut fries and burger was delicious. The girls who worked there are very attentive, after ordering at the window and receiving our meal they came around to see if wanted refills or anything else. The clocks on the wall reminded me of my grandmothers house

I recently went here for the first time and was very impressed! The restaurant is very nice and has such an awesome atmosphere, and the food was outstanding! It’s the perfect burger place with fresh ingredients! The burger was huge and absolutely delicious. Best burger I have ever had! Sam and Riley were working when I was in with my family and they did an excellent job! Wonderful customer service and quick. I can’t wait to go again!

The place was really cool looking on the inside and had a great outdoor space. Service wise – we didn’t get a number like everyone else did. I figured it was because we were a to-go order but I’m not quite sure after talking to another employee. I’m also pretty sure they forgot about our order. We were waiting for 22 minutes and people that ordered after us got their orders before us. We chalked it up to us ordering 6 burgers. So, especially since they were nice when giving us the food, I figured we would try the food before reviewing. As far as the food goes – I’m honestly surprised they have a 4.7 rating. Burgers and fries are all they do… so, you would think they would be excellent. I’m sure it’s rated so well because there’s barely any other food options around the area. Cute town. Just not a lot of options. The fries weren’t at all crispy and not good without a good amount of ketchup. The burgers were mediocre and a little dry. They also forgot to put their special sauce on my burger. One of my kids’ burgers wasn’t cooked all the way through. I also wanted to order shakes but their shake machine was down.

They were very friendly with excellent service. The burgers are really big and taste great, the order of fries is a large serving and we’re good tasting fries. It is a very unique restaurant. I would recommend that you give it try, you will not regret it.

Thought about stopping in here a few times but didn’t. Tonight I finally did and I’m so glad. Simple menu. Great atmosphere. Beautiful patio. Awesome burgers and fantastic fries! I will most definitely be making more stops here.
