So the food was great however, you ha e to get here early because they were out of almost every meat, and the server was initially not nice about it. His aggressive words were, “We have some chicken but don’t get too attached to it because it might be gone by the time you order.” I have worked customer service my whole life and never spoke to a customer that way. It would have been better said, “we have minimal chicken left, so we might be out by the time you order however, I am happy to check for you. Sorry about the inconvenience”. We almost left and didn’t order but our family really wanted us to try the food so we stayed. Towards the end, we killed him with kindness, but he forgot much of our order. The pecan pie was delicious and my loaded potato was as well. All of the food was really amazing but still no way to treat your customers.

Mouth watering meats and chicken with sides and sauces that go very well with all of them. Friendly service and easy to use online ordering. As they are popular they do run out of items so I hope to try the turkey, banana pudding, and bread pudding next time. This is great barbecue which makes it a difficult, but delicious, decision figuring out how much to order.

This was the first time at County Smoak, and it won’t be my last. Ordering online was easy, the pork BBQ was amazing as was the collard greens. The blue cheese coleslaw was so unique and tasty. Next time it will be a side. They have a really cool shelter next to the small, but mighty shop and folks were busy doing plantings beside a sit outside area. Sweet place and so busy, but kind staff. I would highly recommend!

A solid local bbq experience, family oriented and locally owned establishment. A really good brisket, smoked pork, tender sauced ribs, excellent smoked chicken and turkey- (highly recommend). The smoked sausage is flavorful w/ a little bite. Sides Collards, Beans, Bacon buttermilk slaw & really cheesy mac-n-cheese. All were done extremely well. 6 sauces- angry boss and tangy bbq were my favorites. Ken, Jessica and staff are doing some great things & truly treat their customers right! Oh Ribs sold out within an hour of opening…. so go early and go big! Those fire and ice pickles are the bomb….

Absolutely delicious. Meat was fall off the bone tender and juicier than anything. Tried a lot of good rated barbecue places in the short time I have been alive and this one tops my list.

The best BBQ in the region, perhaps state? Just amazing brisket with crispy edges, super moist pulled pork, and the meaty beans are phenomenal. Sauces are top notch, I’m partial to the KC style, which they nail. They even have KC beer, Boulevard. Small place with some indoor seating, but much more outside. Can’t recommend it enough, so, so delicious.

I finally visited after hearing great things and County Smoak did not disappoint. I had the brisket and sausage with a side of mustard coleslaw. Everything was delicious.

Stopped in on a long road trip, their brisket was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend that, the Mac n cheese, beans, about five pounds of cornbread if you’re feeling frisky, and the chocolate pecan pie!
