Ace’s is the best! Our service was great (Ryan and Margaret) and the menu is so good. I had salmon and cheesecake and my husband had the ribeye… Everything we had was delicious! Ace came by many times to make sure we enjoyed the food and to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the food. I was very disappointed upon walking in and never being greeted. They seemed to be short staffed. We had a 7:00 reservation and got there at 6:50. At 7:10 we were yet to be seated. I never mind waiting, but I do expect communication. This is not a restaurant that I would say is fine dining. The atmosphere is not fine dining. No table cloths on the tables, not being greeted, no full service bar or not being able to order a glass of wine or a cocktail. Those are things that I consider fine dining. When I see triple dollar signs on a website and classified as fine dining I think of all the things mentioned above and typically a dress code . First impression walking in door reminded me more of a meat and three. It was also reservation required , but they were clearly taking walk ins! The food may have been spectacular and I hope to give them another try, but this evening was very disappointing as my expectations were higher.

As always, Ace and his crew never disappoint! We loved his restaurant when he was in Liberty, and tried the new location for the first time tonight. I had the catfish and it was delicious. Family members ordered the burger, steak, chicken tenders, and salad and chicken and rice soup. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Service was fantastic, as usual. You cannot go wrong giving Ace’s a try. Just be sure to call and get a reservation first, especially if you have a larger party.

Oh my thank God we went in. We did have a reservation I was told by a friend to make sure to make a reservation because they have limited space. My sister and I started with the salad and let me tell you it is one of the best salads we have ever had and you must try their homemade ranch so creamy. Also their homemade bread was so good and my sister is very picky about her bread. Now let me tell you about my ribeye melted in my mouth like butter no where in town or anywhere nearby are you going to find a steak better than this. I’m so happy we found this restaurant because I am so picky when it comes to good food and since we moved here we have not been able to find a good restaurant like this. You will not be disappointed this place is amazing and everything is homemade and be patient because it’s all made to order. I promise you will not be disappointed. Oh yes and my server was Lexi she was kind and very efficient. Everybody was very nice I cant wait to go back.

My wife and I visited without a reservation tonight, and the hostess Ms. Margaret did let us know they preferred reservations but still went above and beyond to seat us. The service was top shelf. We had crab cakes, mahi, penne pasta, and all were delicious. Food was pricey, but of great quality and worth a lovely evening with my amazing wife. Would definitely go there again when back in the area. It should also be noted that the food was still high quality even a half hour before closing so good work Ace’s!

We had dinner tonight. Crab cakes were amazing. My grilled shrimp and vegetable medley was amazing. My husband had the surf and turf he said was amazing. Our waitress was wonderful and knowledgeable as always. We have her everytime. Hostess was very sweet and kind. Wonderful food and atmosphere.

I will say this right out of the gate. The lamb chops tonight may have been my top 5 best meals I have ever had. To say they were DELICIOUS is an understatement. Ace Joe Gonz outdid himself tonight with his crew as we were in and out within 1 hour. The ceasar salad was hands down the best ceasar salad in this country. Lamb chops that make you wanna never leave, the chicken parm hit the nail right on the head, the pork chop was cooked and seasoned so perfectly you could cut it with a spoon. I eat at a lot of places and trust these words…. Smithville TN is truly blessed to have this restaurant with this staff behind the wheel. It was so great to hear all the laughter and visit with friends tonight as the joy and atmosphere filled the room.

After hearing about an upscale restaurant in Smithville we decided to try it out and we were amazed how delicious and fresh the food was. Our favorite was the eggplant appetiser and the mushroom appetiser. Angry sauce was delicious on the penne too! Can’t wait to enjoy a beer and a good wine with our next meal. Ace is aces!
