This delightful piano bar restaurant is in the wyvern hotel in downtown Punta Gorda. I’ve got a rooftop bar that serves cocktails breakfast and lunch and has a really incredible view of Charlotte Harbor. We had dinner at 88 Keys and I will tell you what I was so impressed the service was top notch. The piano music was amazing and the food was delicious and very aren’t fully prepared and absolutely go back. It’s a special occasion restaurant, but it’s also good for drinks, desserts, and appetizers.

Small, quaint and perfect! Originally planned to go to the rooftop bar but it was wayyyyy too hot! Decided to check out the downstairs bar and boy did we hit the jackpot! Marla, our bartender was FANTASTIC and service was top notch (all smiles and personable). The food was delicious and the musician playing the piano and saxophone was perfect! Thanks so much we will be back ⭐️

Showed up for Happy hour at 5pm and nobody there (even staff lol). Greeted shortly though and the experience went fairly well. Fish tacos were the best (flavorful) I have had in a while and LOADED. Well worth the price. Loaded Tots and mini slider trio were in the Happy Hour menu and were good as well.

Overall good, with great presentation, but some quirks are here. Garlic mashed potatoes instead of rice with the panang curry and seafood? No thank you. The pork shank was good but a little fatty. Vegetables were delicious. Roasted chicken tasty and still moist. I thought it strange that the waiter hasn’t eaten any of the food because he thinks it too expensive.

A wonderful anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly at 7 pm, and our server, Elysia, was terrific. The missus had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and the beef tips small plate. She proclaimed the salad the best ever; the chicken was abundant and grilled perfectly. I had a Caesar salad and the pork osso bucco. The pork was fall off the bone tender and the accompanying red wine reduction was very tasty. We split a creme Brule for desert – yummy. It’s a little pricy, but worth it. Highly recommended.

88 Keys is located on the ground floor of the Wyvern hotel. Parking is a little tricky. There’s parking in the back for hotel guests and there is a lot across the street on the north west side of the building, however that lot is generally pretty full. 88 Keys is to the left of the hotel lobby and is a lounge and restaurant. The lounge area has a modern atmosphere and the bartender was personable. We had a martini and the mushroom and goat cheese bruschetta. The olives in the martini were stuffed with a creamy homemade blue cheese, yum! The bruschetta had plenty of tasty mushrooms with a bit of mushroom gravy which was tasty but made the bread soggy. Overall, it was a good experience and we will most likely return for dinner.

Came here for Breakfast. Service was quick and very friendly. Salmon Eggs Benedict was excellent. French Toast was tasty too. Great value for the money. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch if in the area. I’d come back to try dinner too.
