This restaurant has amazing food and an incredible atmosphere. Emily, the staff member who helped us, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. The daily specials are a great value, like the $7 burritos on Wednesdays. The food is fresh, and the staff is outstanding. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere with a bus inside the building. It was well worth the 25-minute drive from Carrollwood. Check it out for yourself!

The meat isn’t seasoned the corn tortillas are not put on a grill with any thing The only redeeming quality is the tacos are large but it doesn’t matter cuz you won’t want to finish them. The rice is not saffron rice it’s Mexican dirty rice which my serving was hard like it was prepared the day before. I would recommend avoiding this place until they get their act together.

I really expected to love it from the reviews… but the food was not that great and it had some bitter aftertaste, indicating they need to change the frying oil. The taco was cold, the rice tasted nothing like Mexican rice. The churros also had the same bitter aftertaste and the chocolate sauce did not look like chocolate at all. I give them points for originally looking facility, the concept is great. They just need to improve the quality of the food.

Kind employees, tasty food. The queso and shrimp tacos were both delicious. The chicken tacos were not the best, so I wouldn’t recommend those. The quesadilla has plenty for leftovers.

It is inside the convenience store of a Shell gas station, so don’t miss it. They have a lot to offer on the menu and we tried grilled chicken tacos, fish burrito, epanadas (all 3 flavors), side of rice, churro, and Mexican Street Corn . It took about 20 min to prepare the food… they were busy. The food was ok, for a fast food place, but not great. My son said that the chicken hard shell taco was cold, and I noticed that the empanadas were not hot inside, even though we waited quite a bit for them specifically. We all noticed that the fried food had a bitter aftertaste, which means that the fry oil is probably old.

today on june 17 on this lovely saturday night as i walked along the streets of lakeland asking my body what it wanted to eat the answer became clear when i walked passed the taco bus. the smell drew me in and the smile of the employer jordan kept me in for longer than i thought i would. i walked in to check it, walked out to only find my feet traveling back to taco bus. the customer service is excellent. i’ve never felt more welcomed while eating tacos. i will bring my grandmother to this place on a special evening, i know she will feel a little closer to home. i want to thank this place for reminding my body what it feels like to actually be full not only by the food but by happiness.
