We were greeted with a smile, and once seated, the chef went through the menu with my partner and I. The mixed drinks they have are DELICIOUS (I’d recommend the strawberry/lime). The jerk chicken wrap was spicy as expected, and the curry chicken was perfect. The sides complimented the meal, and we just had a fantastic time. We’ll definitely stop by the next time we’re in from Ohio.

Chef is fantastic and accommodating for dietary needs. Vegan and vegetarian items are on the menu. I’ve ordered the vegan hot pot multiple times and it’s my favorite. The plantains are the best I’ve had; just the right amount of sweetness. While the rice and black beans are technically a side dish, they’re so delicious I usually eat them first! Everything is such a great value for the price, but most importantly, it’s all delicious. You can’t go wrong here!

What a wonderful place! Very cool building. I had the pleasure of watching the chef prepare our appetizer and I knew it was going to be good just by watching him. So much care goes into this food. I had the jerk chicken and my husband had the curried goat. The portions were generous and everything I put in my mouth made me so happy. The chicken fell right off the bone. I highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back.

Welcome To The Avenue is a must-try restaurant with delicious starters of Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls and Seard Crabcake with Tomato Chutney. The service was family style, which made us feel right at home. The Hot Pot Entrees of Salmon Run Down and Jerk Chicken were both amazing, and we couldn’t get enough of the jerk chicken. The Salmon Run Down was braised in a coconut tomato sauce and served with a choice of white rice or brown been rice, as well as fried plantains. The Jerk Chicken was also served with a choice of white rice or brown been rice, as well as fried plantains. For dessert, we tried the Christmas Cake and Rum Bun Cake, both of which were exceptional. The Christmas Cake had a subtle spiced molasses taste with orange liquor, and the Rum Bun Cake was spiked with a cinnamon spice and Rum glaze. In addition to the regular menu, there were also vegan options available. The chef is extremely talented and everyone should have the chance to try this restaurant. It is worth every cent.

What a wonderful experience having lunch at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious as well as the service. The owner is an amazing person who’s training his son who’s 5 years old to follow in his footsteps. We had salad, soup and Curry goat as well as oaxtails.
