I’ve tried to give The Real Deal a few tries because of how close they are to my home, but every time I’m disappointed. I’ve tried the steak and cheese, reuben and turkey club. They have all been pretty mediocre, which is sad because it shouldn’t be that hard for a sandwich shop to make a good sandwich. This time they forgot to deliver a soda and gave my girlfriend the wrong order. My turkey club had the smallest amount of turkey and was loaded with mostly lettuce and tomato instead. When we called them back to sort everything out, we were told we had to call back tomorrow and ask for the manager. If anything, the manager should call us, not the other way around. When a customer is dissatisfied, you make it right. They did not. We will not be returning and you shouldn’t either! Do better, Real Deal. If you want a good sub or pizza, go to Maria’s or Stash’s instead. Maria’s has great customer service!

I had a wonderful experience here today! Wide variety of options on the menu, including a large amount of gluten free options and they are extremely allergy friendly. I placed an order online and it was hot and ready when I picked it up. A little expensive but definitely definitely recommend!

Getting a salad at Real Deal is an experience in onions. It’s not that I don’t like onions, but a half cup in big chunks is a bit too much! Onions should be very thinly sliced, think coldcut meat slicer — they should be practically shaved. Nobody wants a mouthful of onion!!?

I absolutely love The Real Deal. I’m a foodie and command some fairly high flavor expectations for an establishment to earn a 5-star review – but they do. I’ve sampled quite a bit of the menu and haven’t come across an item I didn’t think was outstanding. You really can’t go wrong with any item, but honorable mention goes to the homemade meatballs!
