Wow, talk about the ultimate chicken fried steak. Folks, this steak is so big it needs to be in one of those contest where you have eat all in a certain time limit. There’s also a little buffet on Saturday from 11 to 2 at a good price.

Well worth our drive from Derby. Great folks, great food! The chicken fried steak was delicious, AND enormous! I took enough home for two more meals! Can’t wait to go back for the Saturday lunch buffet.

We didn’t get to try Ma’s Cafe when we drove to Burden, Kansas 7.27.23. Sadly, they were closed for some repairs. And I had not reached them by phone before we drove there. It’s a beautiful drive. We had a nice time chatting and looking at the Rolling hills and the lovely old architecture in the downtown area of Burden. Will try again another day & hope to try that Chicken Fried Steak. Even Better if it’s Chicken Fried Chicken Steak! 🙂

Just passing through I found this Great place to eat. Local business . I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was enormous with fries and a salad for $12.00 bucks. Please take my money.

We stop in for breakfast. The food was good. I would not so it was anything out of the ordinary but good. It was fresh and hot. Service was not good. Young lady that came to our table had an atrirude.
