Flacko’s has always been a solid option for all the favorite Mexican specialties. My favorite dish is their Taco’s Al Pastor.. authentic Enchiladas, Smoking Fajitas, freshly prepared Ceviche, and of course hand made Margaritas & cold beer at their Full bar. I’ve never had to wait for a table at Flaco’s and you can eat in or outside on the beautiful patio .

Margaritas are just average, frozen and on the rocks. I tried them both. Salsa is average imo, but seems like some people like it. Stick with the bottled beer here. On the food side go with ground beef or steak items. I bet the nachos are good. I thought the atmosphere and service were fairly good. Place seemed clean and servers were very attentative. Nice light music on a harp going on in the background the night we were there. Made for great entertainment. The staff helped the subpar experience.

We arrived around 6:30pm on Cinco de Maya and the place was packed. They quickly got us a table outside wich was lovely. All servers were working flat out. Despite being so busy, the service was great, drinks were terrific and the food was delicious. Left full and happy. First time there but we will be back with our family.

We’ve been going to Flacos for over 18 years when it was originally on 41. The food is always and I mean always excellent. If it’s your first go you must try the Tampiqueña steak meal. Their salsa is like a drug to me I can’t have enough!

Upon arriving we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess.. Once sat the server was there with a bottle of water and ready to take our drink order.. We ordered one Margarita on the rocks and 1 frozen strawberry Margarita. Both were very refreshing. While we were waiting for our drinks to arrive the owner came over to say Hi and to welcome us to flacos.. We both ordered the carne Tampiquena Which was served with beans, yellow rice, and a cheese enchilada . The steak was grilled to perfection. For dessert we ordered deep fried ice cream and cappuccino. The entire dinner was perfect from start to finish.. We will definitely be back soon.
