The food here is absolutely wonderful and made with love and care. I’ve been here multiple times, and each time everything is delicious with an attention to detail and freshness. Mexican cuisine is my favorite type of food, and among the countless Mexican restaurants I’ve been to around the world, Tacos Poncitlan really stands out. Fantastic food and the staff is very nice. I usually get the burrito (fajitas de pollo) but the ceviche is probably the stand out menu item. Also, if you like salsa with a good amount of heat their red salsa is one of my favorites. If you don’t like a lot of heat stick with the green salsa.

I come here a couple times a month because the fish tacos are sooooo good! Seriously, they are crisp and delicious, with purple cabbage, pico de gallo, and chipotle sauce. My dad is a huge fan of the nachos, and my mom loves the asada tacos. It’s a great little place with charming decor, indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s not a chain. Really hope this place sticks around the neighborhood for a good long time, I love having such good food within walking distance.
