Grow Tropical Fruits
Been eating from Taco Truck for several years and can’t get enough. Used to work across the street and ate it every day for lunch. I am from San Diego and this is the best Mexican food on Oahu I have tried. They recently added tostadas to the menu and I am impressed. Even after a rough ride home and 40 minutes later the tostadas were still warm, crunchy, juicy and packed with flavor! Check them out on instagram @tacotruckhi for updates and times available.

Healthy, hearty, and delicious! They are never shy about the portions. I requested no rice with my spicy pork, and it comes with crab salad. They doubled up on my salad and crab meat. NICE TOUCH!

Recently reopened taco truck with burritos, quesadillas, and tacos. I got the 12 layer player and it was pretty yummy, better than I expected for Mexican food in Hawaii. While I wouldn’t call it authentic: it was a mix between Tex-mex style Mexican food and authentic Mexican food, both influences from the mainland states. There is a cash discount if you don’t want to use card.

Love the Taco truck, been going to see Benson for years and get say enough good things about his great food and just being a great person. Benson’s food is great, it’s LA style and flavor is unmatched here on Oahu, many have tried but non have successfully matched the flavor. They are continuously adding new items and specials to keep things fresh. They take suggestions from customers and make menu items out of them. The Koa dog if I’m not mistaken was a customer creation, or one of the crazy specials. Haha. Anyway if you have time log on to Facebook and follow the taco truck HI, if you’re on Instagram look them up. They do there best to stay on schedule but you can always call or follow them for updates. make it a point to get to the truck and try the food you won’t be disappointed.

By far the best cali-burrito on island. They some how manage to keep the fries crispy on the inside, even though the burrito is packed with meat, cheese and sloppy goodness. All other places tend to over pack theirs with rice, but not The Taco Truck. Can’t recommend enough. One downside, if you go during lunch, you’ll be dead useless for the rest of the day… ready for that food coma lol.

Great service but the food is subpar. The refried beans are pinto beans with some seasoning and they aren’t crushed or refried. The pico de gallo more closely resembles coleslaw and the rice/carne asada tastes like it was seasoned with hamburger helper instead of authentic Mexican seasoning.
