We enjoyed our experience at Macaluso’s today. Food was good. Service was excellent. We had EJ as our server and enjoyed her personality and her recommendations. Establishment was clean and welcoming. The chicken genovese was the table favorite. All dishes were good. The Garlic bread with tomatoes and cheese was a great appetizer. The Chicken Sunrise was a subtle creamy sauce with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. We would recommend and would return. Spacious, clean single gender specific restrooms. Has a lovely garden patio with seating ability.

The appetizers were delicious. We got the stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta and the sauce was to die for. The entrées were ok. The macalusos fettuccine was good but the shrimp was a bit salty. Other than that, everything was great. The service was great and everyone was friendly.

I want so badly to give this place a higher rating. We heard good things originally about this place. I’ll start off by saying this place needs to revisit their service. I know the food industry has been hit hard and has been struggling to have enough employees. So I get it. HOWEVER, it does. It excuse rudeness and also expecting one waiter to attend to 10 tables. The other 2 waitress were helping hand out food and bread and handing out menus.

Sitting in the restaurant so far no service 10 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant…. 20 minutes before a waiter has come seems like a restaurant on kitchen night mare so far and also seems slight racist… Still no bread after two parties behind us also got bread…… fried cheese, soup, and Caeser salad were good….Ahh I figured it out they add 20% gratuity to parties of 5 or more so their service is lacking on purpose.

My mom, daughter, & I came here for the first time (my Mom’s 2nd) and we had a terrible experience. The service was fine but the food was awful I ordered the lasagna I believe I was given the wrong order ( it didn’t taste remotely close to lasagna) my daughter & I originally ordered lobster ravioli only to be informed that you were out so she chose spinach ravioli again mediocre, my mom had shrimp scampi and was also disappointed she said the tails were on and it was crunchy. Needless to say we will not return.

We went here for dinner tonight and they gave us a free meal to celebrate my girlfriends graduation. This restaurant honestly has always been such a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. I will truly miss this restaurant since I am moving to another town. Their food is also incredible and always tastes very fresh. Highly suggest!!

Look here if you are looking for delicious Italian food and great service go to Macaluso’s Italian Restaurant. We had the fried cheese (which I forgot to take a picture of) but they were delicious. The Cesar salad was delicious. The bread was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Lemonade was just the right blend of sweet and tangy. I had the Veal Carciofi which was veal sauted in artichoke hearts and added capers (which I highly recommend) In a garlic lemon white wine sauce. Delicious!!!! My roommate David had the chicken Alfredo and we shared the tiramisu which I’m very very picky about since I make my own but it was amazing. Our server (didn’t catch his name, which we wish we did so we could request him the next time) was fantastic. He was patient with us being first time patrons and he had a great sense of humor, which made the experience all around wonder and pleasurable. We will be back and soon Thank you #Macaluso’sItalianRestaurant and thanks to our Jersey boy server . We look forward to dining again with you again
