I have no idea why this place has a below 4 star rating. I decided to try it out (after trying other Chinese restaurants in the area with higher ratings) and I have to say it is easily the best in the area. The value for your money is one of the best around, and the food was delicious. This will definitely be our go to for Chinese in the future. I recommend the general tsaos chicken!

We lived in the Kings Contrivance area for 2 years and Best Hunan was a favorite of ours. When we had a craving for take-out, Best Hunan was our place to go. The cashier was always exceptionally friendly and nice. I always ordered “extra spicy” to make sure my meal had enough heat to it. Everytime we ordered, our order was correct. Comfort food at its finest that comes with vegetables that are fresh. For a local, non-chain restaurant, you should definitely go to Best Hunan. I’m sad we’ve moved out of the area, but I look forward to going back whenever we visit Columbia.

They messed up my order…gave me a bland wonton soup instead of the hot/sour I requested. Of course, I didn’t discover this until I got home, then it was too late to go back. The other food…fried rice, sweet/sour shrimp, chicken/broccoli….all were mediocre at best. I suspect a language barrier is at fault, but that should be no excuse. The lady at the counter wasn’t friendly at all, and did not try to confirm my order. If she didn’t understand me, that’s her fault, not mine.

I have never had anything so tasteless! I ordered Singapore Rice and it tasted like paper. The rice used was dry and looked like some leftover! I threw the whole thing in the trash. The food was not so bad the first time I ordered, not fantastic but not bad. This time around, my goodness! Tasteless!!! Never ordering from here again.
