Everything was piping hot!!!! Needless to say, the BEST thing on the menu is the hot chicken sandwich!!! The coleslaw is good too.! The fried Okra was nice and tender aaand crispy, but lacked flavor/seasoning…that some pepper fixed. The wings…I like mine cooked “hard.” So I had to take them home and put them in the air fryer. Atmosphere got 4 stars because the music playing in the background. The place is VERY clean though!!!!

Just tried Hangry Joes for the first time. When I go somewhere new, I always worry about getting your money’s worth and having good food. Well, this place hit it out of the park!!!! First, the amount of food you get out well worth what you pay. I think the tenders were like $11 and they were the biggest, juiciest, move flavorful tenders I have ever had. I got mild and it was perfect. The hangry sauce is killer!!!

The chicken was too greasy for me. I ordered 12 wings and ate 6 because the food was terribly greasy and obviously bad for me. The reason for two stars is that the food actually tasted pretty good, I will just never come here again because I’m not sure I can survive the experience. I took a picture, try to see the shine of grease underneath the chicken wing.

delicious chicken sandos, best in the area for sure. my sandwich was swapped with my friend, so he got one bite of the hot and didn’t have a very good time with it, while I was given his mild. we were sure we picked up the correct order numbers, so just be careful and take a small bite first to check you got the right level of spice.

By far the best spicy chicken sandwich on the East Coast!!!!! My wife and I got the Hot Chicken Sando (Very Spicy, non-refundable ) and it was full of flavor all in one bite. The orange sauce they put on it was so delicious! The chicken was so tender to the bite, it made you wanting more. I’m a forever a customer here.

I was very pleased with the food here. I got mild, and it was a little spicy for my palette. But I honestly enjoyed the food. The spice was good with mild, not overly spicy but enjoyable. I will be coming back to try other things. I only took 1 star off because the service was a little on the slower side. And also because I didn’t care for the waffle fries. They were overly crispy and didn’t have much flavor, in my opinion. I didn’t try the bubble tea, but I was hearing good things about it. The next time I go, I will try it.

Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken gives Popeye’s and KFC a serious run for their money when it comes to hot chicken sandwiches. Legit good @$$ fried chicken sandwiches! Try the loaded fried and the Korean Tenders too. The prices are moderate and fair. The customer service is on point and did I mention how good the chicken is?

Best chicken sandwich in the area hands down. Perfect Blend of crisp spicy flavor. I got the angry hot sauce which is extremely hot. I would not recommend you get that your first time. Unless you really like something extremely hot like hot hot like 20 minutes later still hot. But even with all that heat the flavor still shines through great-tasting sandwich. In the pickles are great actually get my with extra pickles

We have waited a few months for this place to open, glad it’s finally open. So worth it. The chicken sandwich was delicious, chicken was tender and juicy, I got no heat and it was perfection, still had some subtle heat (I thoroughly read the heat scale). The slaw was a nice addition to bring in some sweetness. The chicken was huge! I cut the excess chicken off and ate it separately. Will be going back.

Their chicken is crispy and juicy. I will never get it “to go”. This is best eaten fresh in the restaurant. “To go” is not the same. The mac and cheese is nasty. That’s The reason for 2 stars. Why are you serving that slop as mac and cheese ? The chicken is great so are the waffles but that mac n cheese doesnt taste right. How do you mess up boxed kraft like that ? I can tell its “doctored” kraft mac. Its just gross.
