It’s a nice bar and grill for the area. Drink Prices were outrageous. 18 dollars a shot. Bottle of Don Julio anejo was 380. The food was good. The customer service was great. I love to support black businesses but having downtown prices in a location like Lynwood is bad for business.

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. For starters they are apparently extremely understaffed. I saw 1 server the entire time I was there. It took what felt like forever for us to even get menus and place orders. Half of the menu was unavailable and the items that were available still barely came out. The chicken tasted like fish, so I’m sure they are using the same grease, which can potentially be very dangerous. The staff was very unprofessional and obviously weren’t properly trained the to work in the service industry. I tried to give grace, but at what point will there be accountability? There were no accommodations made for the lack of menu items, slow and unreliable service or rudeness. To top it off, there was a kids party happening in this bar. This is a bar! It’s an adult setting, with adult music and alcoholic beverages. If the idea was to be available for kids parties, then maybe it’ll be best to do that on a day that isn’t open to the general public hoping to have an adult bar experience. I wouldn’t know how good the food is, because my food never came out. I did tastes my friend’s chicken and it tasted just like fish. I hope that this place makes the necessary changes soon. I won’t know, because I definitely won’t be back.

My experience at G Vibez in Lynwood was extremely disappointing and dissatisfying. If I could give 0 stars I would. The level of unprofessionalism that was displayed is down right shameful. First of all, you can’t operate a restaurant properly if half of the menu items are unavailable to the patrons. I can sympathize with running out of a few things but half of the entire menu? That speaks volumes about how this restaurant is being ran. Food was not prepared properly and the wait times for anything were ridiculous. There was also a kid’s party being celebrated in a bar! This is an adults only setting with alcohol and to allow minors to be present is extremely tasteless and unsafe. An establishment should not allow such recklessness. If you want to express your grievances be prepared to be met with opposition and attitude. The owner was so careless, nonchalant, and had many snarky remarks. He did not make sure any of our needs were met or even try to correct any of this establishment many missteps. An establishment of this caliber should be able to provide bare minimum service at the least and even that seemed impossible. If you’re looking for a good dining experience, nice atmosphere, and caring staff then this is not the place for you. This place has none of those qualities. Would not recommend to anyone!

So I Visited G Vibez for a birthday brunch on 1/8 The brunch started @ 2pm. I got there at about 2:30. I sat and had a drink then decided to order food at about 3pm. Ordered wings & waffles. After about 45 mins. Went to check on my food and was informed that there were no more waffles and that my order was COMPLETELY dismissed. Never received any food!! Management had a total attitude and not to mention my sister”s lamb chops were VERY OVERCOOKED!! So let’s just say my first experience at this place was terrible!! Won’t be back.

As president of the Broken Arrow Horseback Riding Club of Chicago, we had 18 of our members that came out and celebrated our 34th anniversary, at this new neighborhood location (G Vibez) in Lynwood, IL., on Sunday, January 15, 2023. I read the last reviews (not good) before going. But I trusted my own instincts, and went to see for myself. The food was not only tasty, but also hot, the drinks were wet & good, and the service very adequate. Not one person in our group, had to say anything NEGATIVE about the food or service. I certainly recommend this location for your next outing. Cowboys, hats off to this establishment for a job well done; I’ll give them 5 cowboy hats.

Horrible, Unorganized I was there for 2 hours didn’t get a cup of water I had to go find my own menu. Still no one to give an order to. Then for others who ordered there food to go was told there food was brought out to them which was a LIE. The kicker is there was an adult party going on to the kick people out of there seats to say there about to have a kid party in the section with a gaming truck outside. Terrible will never return an will never suggest I don’t care how good the people said some of the food was. Never.
