The food is really good, there’s very little service by design so it’s hard to rate that. You order before sitting down and get drinks at the fountain so there isn’t much interaction with service.

Clean, family friendly, prompt friendly service, and nice outside eating area. They have a counter to order at and they give you a number to put on your table, you pick were to sit and they bring your food to the table when its ready. Make sure to visit the ’round table’ for toppings to add to your meal. Today was the first time we ever ate at a Newk’s. I had the Newk’s Q Pizza and my husband had Combo 1/2 Royal Sandwich and cup of the days soup lobster and crab bisque. The pizza is a good size personal (6 slices) or good to share with someone if you get sides. Crust was thin which was very nice could have been a little more crispy. Could use more tomato, next time I’ll order extra. Overall taste was very good. The 1/2 sandwich seemed a bit small in size, there was a good amount of meat on it, could have used more vegetables (now we know so next time will order extra lettuce and tomato), the bread was very good. The cup of soup was a good serving size and good taste and texture. The 2 meals and 1 coke was $20. I will eat here again.

Visited for the first time today! Menu had a great selection and pricing was reasonable. They seemed very short staffed ♂️ took a while to greet us. The food came out fast, they were very accommodating with some order changes on the fly. No refills during Covid but the cup the give you is plenty. We will return when in the area. Thank you!

Order the shrimp po boy 4/16 during lunch. The worst Po boy I ever had and service. Menu clearly stated comes with comeback sauce on the menu board and instead it was served with cocktail sauce. When I asked about it the rude staff said no it comes with cocktail sauce. I would suggest taking money elsewhere as menu is a guesstimate on what you might get, they serve what they feel like even if the menu says otherwise. The shrimp was cold and more like a shrimp cocktail then a shrimp po boy.

I’m always happy with Newk’s. The food seems especially fresh and flavorful compared to a lot of other quick-service restaurants. Salads are crisp, nicely chilled, and have plenty of varied ingredients to make them interesting. Love the margherita pizza and the pimento cheese sandwich. The self-service bar where you can select pickles, peppers, freshly shredded parmesan cheese, and bread sticks, helps you to customize your meal. It’s a bit pricier than a run-of-the-mill fast food place, but the food is much tastier and healthier.

Update: Went again today and had the broccoli cheese soup and half a pimento cheese sandwich. The soup was delicious and the sandwich was good also and seemed to have a little bit of heat in the pimento cheese, just the way o like it.
