Every dish was well made and presented and full of flavors… will recommend highly to taste menudo the most cleanest and has no funny smell… I never eat menudo for those reasons but with this restaurant I can’t wait to go back and specifically order that for myself.. along side with all the dishes I have tried so far and fell in love with them … Thier drinks are well served and has amazing flavors also

HOT FRESH AUTHENTIC. I just ordered a carnitas burrito and the horchata is fresh hand made authentic horchata! I’m a regular now starting today. The servers were nice and very soft spoken. This was lunch I’ll be having drive with my wife here tonight just to get her fresh horchata. Horchata hunters for life.

Hopped in here while charging our EV nearby. We shared the Chicken mole. Delicious!!!! The tortillas are clearly made in house and wonderful! The margarita was a bit sweet, but refreshing. Very good service!

The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but filled up a bit before we left. The restaurant was clean and looked nice. The menu was smaller than usual but still had a good variety. I didn’t get much time to look it over as the waitress was trying to hurry to get out order in before a large group got theirs in. I had the Chili Verde Burrito. It was large and very flavorful. I had half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. It reheated very nicely. I’d score the burrito 8.5/10.

Sat at the back bar and had $5 happy hour margaritas and $7 small nachos. Both were delicious and our bartender (Kat) was friendly, helpful and attentive even right before closing. Will for sure be back!

Came all the way out to Atwater from Brentwood hoping to find some open businesses since they declared themself’s a sanctuary city not much was open but couldn’t go back hungry so Stopped at Josie’s to get some food and it almost made the drive from Brentwood worth it. We ate it picnic style on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant and the food was great. This was my first time having carne asada fries and they were awesome. Service was also excellent. When lock down is over I will definitely be back to eat inside
