My father stopped in town (truck driver) and wanted something good and fulfilling. I’ve seen this restaurant multiple times as my dogs groomer is located in the same plaza. We had oxtail plate. The oxtails were so tender falling off the bone. The cabbage was very well seasoned. The rice and peas were cooked thoroughly. The plantains were good (only mad I didn’t order extra lol). I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. Staff very friendly and patient as we didn’t really know what we wanted.

Oxtails were very good and seasoned well. 3 full pieces and a few were so tender they fell off the bone. The meat wasn’t spicy but something was, had to eat more meat to cool my mouth off lol it was weird

I would give it Zero star but the lowest star was (1) went there for the first time after promising to at least stop in and check it out.Each beef patty was $3.50 bought 2 anyways to show my support.They were burnt and was not spicy which is what I asked for,I also got a rum cake that came in a tiny plastic baking pan that had so much oil it was horrible,not to mention she disappeared for at least 5minutes to get the patties that was not kept up front and I commented on that because they were cold.This is MY EXPERIENCE!! So don’t come for me.

Quaint, cute, and clean atmosphere. The food is authentic and kept ready for you. I loved the brown stew chicken the most. All of the meat was tender and falling off the bones. One of my favorites is also the cabbage. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean taste of the BBQ wings. The sauce was thick and all of the flavors came through. I definitely recommend trying.

I stopped by Sherell’s Place for the first time ever today and I wasn’t disappointed. From the smoothie, to the spinach patties, they were delicious. Then I had a Brown Stew Red Snapper meal and Grilled Salmon. The best food in McDonough, GA. Will definitely be seeing me often
