I love CAVA, and was a regular when I lived in Maryland. However, this Fort Worth location is pretty disappointing. The takeout orders take forever and portions are entirely too small. Some items selected via app tend to get skipped and not added to the bowl, and more care is needed when adding ingredients to the bowl. Also, the spicy lamb meatballs were burnt.

First…great place to eat. Really really good food. This was my first visit. I did not know there was a drink bar around the corner from where you ordered food. It would have been helpful to know this as I picked up a bottle of my beverage without knowing. Not terrible but a bit annoying. I don’t remember seeing drink choices available either. This was my first time and could have easily missed it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The dining area could have been a bit more tidy. When the front staff had a chance to clean up they did. The utensils are made of a plant protein. Awesome. We were unable to recycle our bottles.

The Fort Worth location is a complete mess. As other people have stated in their reviews, we waited over 35 minutes for an order placed on the app. Only when we asked what was taking so long did they tell us the order had been marked as completed, yet they were still waiting for one of the toppings. My bowl only had one meatball which I paid extra for. If we hadn’t had asked we would have been there another 20 minutes. Meanwhile the line is nearly out the door because they are so slow and mismanaged. We like Cava but likely won’t be going back after this experience.

Ok…I just found my new favorite restaurant. When it’s hot outside and you need a refreshing meal, the Lemon Chicken bowl is on point! Absolutely delicious, filling and light. Only 690 calories.

Loved my experience here as it was my first time! The food was top notch and the quality was great, plus everything was fresh. On top of that, the customer service was unmatched. Selena went out of her way to make sure we were accommodated and had the biggest smile on her face. 10/10 would come back.

This is a great place for fast, casual Mediterranean food. The flavors are spot on but it was all a bit too oily for me. My pita wrap was soaked by the time I sat down (6 minutes) I couldn’t pick it up. I re-wrapped it in the paper and liquid poured out of it onto the table. My husband ordered the spicy chicken and his was full of liquid. I was bummed bc the pita became soggy quickly. I got the Greek chicken. I would probably ask for dressing on the side next time. Workers were nice but their menu inside doesn’t show any of the extras you can purchase. Thankfully there wasn’t a line so I could ask questions. I purchased a side of saffron rice and it was so dry and tasted a little off. I’m glad I didn’t order a bowl. The pita chips were incredible! Loved those and their drink selections. They have great topping options.

First time and was very pleased! It’s kinda like Mediterranean Chipotle where you can get a bowl or pita. I was adventurous and created my own bowl instead of selecting one of theirs. Braised lamb was delicious and I had leftovers.
