The go-to spot for authentic Puerto Rican food. Whoever made the carne guisado served on Tues 08/15, props to the chef. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. I gave some to a friend and she even said the meat was so tender. I got a large plate, soda, water bottle and a relleno de papa for $19 and I got 3 servings out of my plate. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Very reliable and authentic. Customer service is lovely. Thank you!

I simply adore this place. The food is amazing always fresh and delicious. Been going for years and when I’m in the area I make sure to stop in. The atmosphere very welcoming staff is kind pleasant and polite. The owner is really one of a kind and shows how much pride goes into his place Highly recommended.

I always make sure to go Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to enjoy the special soup they make from scratch. I love everything they make. From rice, pork chops, fried snacks, delicious beverages, etc. The owner is very nice and he runs a tight shop there as well. Making sure that the customer is always the number one priority.

Stopped in here yesterday on a Thursday got some Rice, Pernil and beans with yuca that was AMAZING the Yuca was soft and so delicious.Came in today on a Friday got a Sopa de Mondongo (Tripe) w/ some bread on the side got home tried it and absolutely DELICIOUS I’ve tried a lot of spots in Hartford but this place by far is the best ones yet! The owner is really nice and the workers are very sweet always smiling 🙂 thank Goodness I found this Wonderful Establishment
