My 10 year old says the Muscles were the best ever. The Bell Pepper Soup is amazing. As a matter of fact, everything we ordered was exceptional and we are seasoned international travelers. Highly recommended.

Incredibly disappointed! After seeing all the great reviews I was so excited to try this place. We showed up after lunch rush around 1:30 so they were very slow. The lady that sat us got our drinks and we ordered the escargot which was fine. But a man came to take our order but no one ever greeted us as our server nor gave us their names. We also had the French onion soup which tasted like the pan had scorched. When I mentioned I didn’t care for it he took it away but never apologized. Hubby ordered the roasted beef Panini with a salad with house dressing that tasted very grainy almost like beach sand he only had maybe two bites of the salad but the panini was okay. My meal was the special (soup and chicken alfredo) also came with a crepe dessert and hubby ordered the creme’ brûlée. When the guy came to ask if we were ready for dessert my husband answered yes the the creme’ brûlée and I asked for a ToGo box. When he brought the box out he asked me if I was ready for mine as well to which I clarified yes to what I thought was obvious if I was done eating my entree. About 10 minutes later the lady that got our drinks brought my husbands dessert out and we asked for refills of tea as well as if my dessert was going to be out as well. The creme’ brûlée custard tasted fine but the sugar on top was still granulated and where it was caramelized it was burnt. After waiting for another 10 minutes or so I finally had had enough and started to walk up to the register to pay since I wasn’t thinking I would be seeing my dessert our server again. Another employee I hadn’t seen was at the register and as we waited to pay we noticed our server in the back making my crepe dessert. I guess he realized we were ready to go so put it in a to go container and brought it to the register. When the lady at the register asked us what’s that, I responded my dessert I ordered almost 30 minutes ago to which I got no response since she was trying to ask what we ordered and I misunderstood. Our server then took over and rung up our order at full price and apologized but I still left frustrated and dissatisfied and annoyed to have paid almost $60 for such poor service and food.

The food was fantastic with excellent presentation. I had the herb crusted lamb which was cooked to my idea of perfect and I had the best French onion soup I’ve ever tasted. The dessert was homemade and delicious as well. I enjoyed every part of my meal and the service was quick, helpful, and polite. The food is not cheap however, I would recommend La Poz to anyone who wanted a finer dining experience in more classical cuisine. I would not typically write reviews but I felt the need to after I saw some scathing reviews that I felt were unwarranted.

I had heard great things about this cafe so I decided to try it for myself. The onion soup was one of the best I have had. It is not over done like a lot you find a steakhouses. I enjoyed the escargot which were properly prepared and not chewy. I had a glass of the Dr.Richter Riesling which accompanied both dishes well. the food is properly priced and the staff was a pleasure to talk to. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that like quality French food.

What a lovely experience. The food & wine was awesome. I had the duck with pomegranate sauce. Yummy. But I also had a little bit of the other dishes on our table. We were commenting how full we were & decide to oreder one dessert to share. We ended up ordering 2 desserts & finished it all.

The food is amazing. The price is spot on for the quality of food. The wine is paired well, and bread is so tasty you just keep eating it! Atmosphere in the evening is quaint, perfect for a date. Our new favorite restaurant!!!!

We tried this place for the first time this evening and it was all around a wonderful experience. The food was excellent but what was truly amazing was how welcoming and accommodating the staff was. The whole time they greeted us with a smile and we just so nice to interact with. We realized as we were taking our sweet time to eat that it was already past closing time. We didn’t want to be rude customers and were already full anyway so we asked for to go boxes so we could get out of their way to close up. Our waiter was afraid that he had implied we needed to leave (which was far from the case! He actually invited us to take our time and stay) and brought us complimentary creme brûlée. We will definitely come back!! Especially for the tuna tartare avocado!

worst Brunch experience ever! The $10.50 “corking” fee for wine (they do not have a liquor llicense yet” was totally out of line. We were never told about that fee until the bill arrived. However, they did remove it from our bills which was very nice of them to do. Waiter was excellent. Food was not good, not near French food. The crepes were soggy and very sparse toppings. Then to top that, a “lady” followed us out of the restaurant and accused us of being racist! Very rude owners,

Went here for Mother’s Day for the first time and really liked the venue. Went back last week to give breakfast a try and both the latte and crepe were spot on. Decided I would try and get dinner this evening. I showed up about 15 till 9pm and even though the hours show they are open until 9pm I was corrected by a waitress that told me that was true “unless they were slow”, in which case, they close early. Such a shame. Living in the inner loop, every restaurant I have gone to will seat patrons all the way up to closing time. I you plan on going here please be aware that if you are planning to arrive close to closing it might be worth. Giving them a call first to see if they will even be open.

I really loved this place. Great food and great service. We need more unique restaurants like this in this side of town. My kids loved the ham and cheese crepes.
