Blue Moon Belgian Style Wheat, Witbier · 5.4% ABV, Denver, CO
Brewed with oats for creaminess and spiced with the perfect combination of orange peel for subtle sweetness. It started with our brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White

Sierra Nevada Otra Vez Gose With Cactus And Grapefruit, Gose · 4.5% ABV, Chico, CA

This place is pretty much on par with most of the other beach style restaurants in PCB… Service was good. There was a difference of opinion on the food. I had the Baked Oyster Sampler and 1/2 dozen Buffalo Chargrilled. Most of them were raw and not baked. Very stingy with cocktail sauce, crackers, and horseradish. Most were even more cold by the time I got more. My wife enjoyed her Shrimp Tacos.

Overall we enjoyed our dinner visit to Hammerhead Fred’s. My wife had grilled shrimp and said it was good. I had a blackened Cajun chicken sandwich and it was ok. It had way too much seasoning on it. I understand blackened chicken requires a lot of seasoning, but it was way too much on this sandwich. We sat outside and there was live music, which was fun. The service was ok. We would probably go back again.

You know it is the best place to visit!! Since 1995 locals know Hammerhead Fred’s is the place for fresh seafood. Sure, you can find seafood all along Panama City Beach, but Fred’s serves up a difference that will keep you coming back for more. They say, “variety is the spice of life,” and at Hammerhead Fred’s variety gets served up daily. Fred’s extensive menu features a variety of signature dishes with a Cajun kick and spices that will thrill your palate. Whether you’re craving a sizzlin’ steak, fresh gulf shrimp, or baked oysters with flavorful toppings, you’ve come to the right place. Watching your beach figure? No problem. Choose from a selection of crisp garden salads or even a fresh bowl of soup. Hammerhead Fred’s has something for everyone!

We tried to eat here a few nights earlier, but there was a 45-minute wait. Sadly, we decided to eat elsewhere… BIG MISTAKE! We made it in for lunch on a Friday before our flight out of town; it was fantastic!! We walked right in and had the entire staff serving our needs. Apparently, lunch is not anywhere as busy as the dinner party rush. We saw the stage, the outdoor seating, and the Spring Break party scene that we had missed a few nights earlier. Next time, we will gladly wait the 45-minutes.

Enjoyable experience. Service was good. Food was as expected from this type of tourist restaurant – Good but nothing to write home about. Prices are reasonable. They seem to have a good selection of frozen drinks and beers. It was nice listen to live music.

The food is AMAZING!!!! Waited for 15 mins for our table, once’s seated, our server immediately took our drink order and not long after took our food order. Our drinks and food arrived at almost the same time (which was really fast) and was blown away by the quality of the food and how fresh and hot it was. Food was definitely something to eat slowly and savor.

So this is the first place my wife and I decided to go to, largely because they were near the strip, had a decent review rating, and most importantly, had oysters. We get there at about 430pm, immediately seated, live music was setting up, and the waitress brings out the menus. They have chargrilled oysters!!!!?! We order the chargrilled sampler platter…OMG! We’ve been to Appilachicola for oysters….these overall are better. Great cook, great presentation. We ended up getting 2 orders for the 2 of us. NAILED IT! Only downside was they need more servers. Our waitress was handling a large table and several small tables. Great experience overall!!

Food was great! Our server was polite, attentive, and funny. Alcohol beverages were a bit pricey but that’s typical at most restaurants. Very large building with interesting decor and a decent amount of air-conditioned indoor seating, but a huge outdoor seating area with what looked like a stage for live entertainment. We had a party of 10 on a Friday night and had no problem getting in and seated. Received our food quickly and correctly. Overall great restaurant. Definitely recommend!
