I’ve been to several Yats locations over the past decade and believe this is the best one. Their seasoning is more robust somehow, and the food is always extremely fresh. The staff is always chill, and we’ve never had a less-than-great experience.

I’m always looking for good “not big chain” restaurants to try. After one visit to Yats, I was hooked. The food is amazing and the staff seem really down to earth. The food is incredibly flavorful, complex yet simple, and exotic while also being familiar and a true comfort food. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

This location is absolutely incredible. I very very rarely post reviews, however I felt this place needed some recognition. The guys running the store when I was in today were extremely welcoming and efficient. I had my food at my table before I was finished paying. They all knew my name after just telling them once. I will for sure make the drive from the south side to come here more often.

Pathetic. This was the full order that cost me $9.75. My wife even asked the guy if that was a full order, and he said yes. This is 75% rice and 25% actual food. I’ll stick to making my own Cajun food from here on out. This stuff wouldn’t fly in Louisiana, and it gives Cajuns a bad name. Maybe Yats needs to just close their doors. Please stop giving these money grabbers your money, go watch some Stalekracker on YouTube and make your own Cajun cuisine, much cheaper and tastier.

Full order? Regardless if taste for $9.00 I expect to see way more than a serving spoon full of good. You get more bread then the actual meal!

First time eating, the smell was awesome. Very busy place. I always wanted to go in the early years, but the broad ripple location was always packed full.

I initially thought the food looked unappetizing, but it’s delicious. It’s also an incredible value. This is one of my go-to places for a quick, cheap lunch. I’m in Indy about once every two weeks, and this place is one of the four restaurants I frequently visit.

12/18/2021 – Great experience with my dad and his friend for lunch today. Chili Cheese Etouffee with Crawfish,Spinach and Mushroom Etouffee, and Chicken Macque Choux (Mock Shoe) were a great spread to split with my dad.

Go here if you’re looking for unique food quick for lunch. Employees are all very polite, and very kind to add. Rarely do I find people who remember a face, and they have the attentiveness to do so. Never had a bad experience here and is my go to for lunch. Highly recommended
