Yum, Yum, yum, such great food!! Our waitress was AWESOME ( she had short blonde hair with ponytail and glasses)! Such a cool atmosphere in that place and also had outside seating too which was a nice touch in this cool town! Bathrooms were really clean. Every staff member seemed pleasant and busy. Can’t wait to go back here when in the area again!!

Wow! A complete five-star experience from start to finish. We had the walleye cakes, the smoked duck breast, and the black truffle ravioli special, all of which were excellent and came out quickly. Also a large cocktail menu, all three of which were great as well. Our server, Logan, was attentive, kind, yet unobtrusive–perfect service. We came here because we were seeing a show at the Ripple Center across the street, but I think we’ll be back just for dinner!

Block North was a great dining experience overall. The ambience inside was amazing. There are very nice decorations with beautiful wood throughout the building. Even the bathrooms were impressive to me. I began by having the Snickerbrewdle to drink. It was a solid beer and not too sweet. The food was very tasteful. I enjoyed the barbecue brisket sandwich. The buttery bread was delicious. I had a side of fries and they were amazing. Perfectly cooked and salted. All the food was enjoyed thoroughly by the group I was eating with!

We have been here several times and have always been happy!! Today our quick lunch was superb! You would think the standard Chicken Tenders w/ Fries and a Chicken Caesar Salad wouldn’t be anything to rave about, but they are! So yummy with their own unique spin, and super fresh! Great job Block North! Also the kids loved the games downstairs!!

Definitely coming back here as soon as I can! The Walleye cakes were to die for!!! The menu is huge and has many options, but I’m so glad to have enjoyed those while I was there! Also, they had 10 craft beers on tap when I was there and I tried several- all were very well made and great quality! Ash, our server at the bar was very friendly, knowledgeable and offered good suggestions for the beers too. I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could!

This spot s fantastic! I’d argue it’s the best restaurant in Northern Minnesota. You can tell it’s chef-owned in every aspect and every bite of fresh flavor. He offers great vegan, vegetarian, & gluten-free options on a diverse menu, and he makes it all flavorful & delicious. I can’t say enough good about this adorable lunch spot (& dinner I’m sure too). Great service too, of course.

Food selections were amazing! Hard to choose 1. I got 3 delicious street tacos. My husband tried the Bahn Mi sandwich also delicious. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. The other 5 people in our party were pleased with their meals. Especially the Mac &Cheese with pork. Our yearly visit. Wish we lived closer!

I had the Beer batter fish and chips. I have had it before and loved it. Today the breading was thick and HARD! Could not eat it. Had to take fish out of breading! My husbands pasta and chicken was good as Usual. They really should have given me a discount!
