Gourmet Garden has been my go to Chinese restaurant for the past 15 years. The food is delicious and the lunch specials are a great deal. Additionally, the service is exceptional. My family and I have gotten to know the owner/workers throughout the years and they always treat us with utmost kindness and care. Although we live 30 minutes away, Gourmet Garden will always be worth the drive and I will continue to eat here frequently!

How this place is 3.9 is mind boggling. We spent 80 bucks and I wouldn’t have given this food to the homeless. How does a restaurant make food without a taste ? I love me some Egg Drop soup and it was disgusting along with everything else. This place should pay people to eat there.

This is the only place around that I’ve found that has gluten free Chinese chicken options! My favorites are the General Tso and Orange Chicken. They “bread” it with cornstarch I believe instead of regular bread (I’m celiac, so I did make sure, but I can’t remember if it was just corn starch or also potato or tapioca starch). Either way, delicious, crunchy, and you get a lot of food! Usually always have leftovers and I like my food so I eat a lot lol

The food is good. The price is right. Have been going here for years when visiting. The bathroom needs a thorough CLEANING and Renovation…. and the uncomfortable booth chairs are awful to sit in , to the point I could hardly enjoy my meal. The same chairs & booth since 2001. 21 years ago…….Your good food & service deserves better. The staff does too. 5 stars if you update!

Okay.. I am impressed. My mom’s in town from Alabama where she doesn’t get the chance for Chinese food and wanted to find a place that has pressed duck. I spent my lunch at work on the hunt, with no luck. I called Gourmet Garden to ask if they might have their house special duck. They did not.. BUT the woman that took my call was so nice and welcoming we decided to try the place out! Later we called an order of chicken with garlic sauce, dragon and pheonix and house special lo main… white rice and fried. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. We don’t live in Brighton, but better believe we can’t wait to try more of what the menu has to offer. And to think a simple phone call with that amazing person brought in our business… and yes she was just as sweet in person. Thank you Gourmet Garden for the awesome dinner. Service is top notch too!
