Ten stars if I could. This place is absolutely amazing. The food is incredibly great. We got a fried pork chop special and a fried fish special with collard greens, fries, fried okra, potato salad, fresh salad with some type of strawberry vinaigrette and cornbread. All the food was just phenomenal. This is home cooking soul food at its best. Collard greens wonderful, fried fish and heck all fried foods were delicious, the batter they fry in is awesome. The sides were delicious. The cornbread is moist, and let me not forget to mention the best homemade strawberry lemonade with chopped up lemons and strawberries in it. Everything was top notch. The employees were so beyond great, super friendly and because it was our first time there very accommodating and let us get a small sample of other sides so we know for next time. This place is a gem, kinda hidden in the corner of the plaza. I promise you will love the food and the portions are generous you will go home full and feeling great. We will be back again and again, best spot in Pensacola in my opinion. Go get you some.

Chef Ty and Mom was the absolute TRUTH for our Sweet Baileys 18th 3day Birthday weekend. First their attitudes and demeanor was a pleasure to behold. He went over and beyond to accommodate 12 teenagers and 12 Adults. The food was amazing in taste as well in presentation. The punch and the cupcakes were a bonus. Not to mention the 2 home made cakes mom threw in. Ty has made us not only clients but Family for life. One thing for sure, we are gonna always eat good

I ordered pork chops and seafood rice. I was disappointed with the taste. Pork chop skin wasn’t crispy, and the meat was tough. seafood rice taste bland. Last year, I order the same meal and it taste great. Quality wasn’t the best today. 🙁 I would avoid this restaurant if its too busy.

Excuse my language but this was the best damn food, PERIOD!! From the wings to the ribs to the salad (and all homemade dressings), you can’t beat it. And talk about service! I felt a little like I am now a part of the family. Thank you family Ty…I’ll be back and often!

Went in because some coworkers were bragging about it. Man hands down my go-to spot now! I got some fried fish, Mac and cheese, stuffing, plus some ribs. Amazing is the only word that explains it. Even gave us free drinks because it was our first time there. The environment was all love, not a single worker mad of stressed out. They really made me feel like I was welcomed and that’s just something you don’t get much of nowadays. If you love great food look no further. They got it going on in there!

My family is from Kentucky and I haven’t had fried chicken like this in YEARS. If anyone gives this place any less than 5 stars, they’re outta their minds! The cook came out and gave us desserts, checked on us. Food and service is phenomenal we will be here every week! God bless this place I have finally found real soul food again
