I’ve been coming here for decades, but lately it doesn’t seem to be at the same quality level? I always loved the warm, soft, tortillas, but now they are cold and stiff, and makes the meat get cold faster too. I was in at lunch on 5/6/23 and the person at the cash register had lots of crumbs in his beard from snacking on chips, like pieces so big I could cleary see it was tortilla chips. Also, the worker in the back had long hair hanging down out of his cap.

I recently had a disappointing experience at a Mexican restaurant in Mankato. The food I received was cold, and to make matters worse, the chicken was old and chewy. It was by far the worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had in the area. The staff informed us that we couldn’t order an extra taco because they were out of chicken, which was quite frustrating. My dissatisfaction grew when I took a bite of my meal and had to spit it out immediately. The prices were exorbitant for the quality and taste of the food. The only redeeming aspect was the Chilato, which was enjoyable. However, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was unpleasant, as it seemed dirty throughout. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the cold, old, and chewy food, overpricing, and unsatisfactory atmosphere.

Food just okay for the price which BTW seems to go up weekly. The booths are so ridiculously narrow seating is uncomfortable. Sit outside. Bathroom-absolutely disgusting. Unbelievable that a business can get away with the filth that I saw.
