I fell in love with chipotle’s consistently fresh and tasty, yet affordable, food years ago in Denver. As a veggie, I was ecstatic when they added sofritas (spiced tofu) to the menu. NYC however gives them stiff competition. I stopped in here while feeling hungry and nostalgic only to be shocked at the register.

The customer service is definitely lacking; staff was not friendly or welcoming…additionally, I came in with my child who needed to use the restroom during our visit & was told that there was not working restroom for customers…UNACCEPTABLE. Howvwr, our meals were tasty & the cost was as expected.

Came in the other day at 9:40pm (Friday Dec. 30) right after I got off of work because I hadn’t had a chance to eat throughout the day and I didn’t have groceries or the time to make food at home. When I got into the empty restaurant I waited five minutes for the line cook to do housekeeping that should be done after they’ve already closed before he finally decided to make my bowl. Maybe this wouldn’t have bothered me if he acknowledged that I were there but he didn’t. In addition to that It was another thing that they had already turned off machinery to warm tortillas and stopped making food before the place was closed. Having to interact with insufferable people that obviously hate their jobs is a draining experience after a long day. These people should not work jobs that have them interact with customers, and I say this as someone that does. This is one of the closest chipotle’s to my apartment but I won’t be coming here again.
