This is a combined operation for Long John Silvers, and also A&W. I am only rating for Long Johns, as I never order from A&W. Generally have pretty good luck here. As with all fast food, they are trying to predict how much they need and be ahead of the game, so there are certainly times when you are eating fries that should be fresher, etc. For the most part they do a decent job at providing food that is fresh and hot, and decent quality. There is a decent amount of condiments available, tarter sauce and malt vinegar for the fish, BBQ sauce for the chicken, honey for the hush puppies, ketchup for the fries etc. For being a fast seafood joint, they generally do a pretty decent job providing good service and food for the amount you pay.

I don’t normally post reviews but this time i wanted to make sure everyone who reads these keeps an eye for food recieved. If there was an option to place zero stars I would, however there isn’t. Today we ordered 2 A3 combos grilled chicken sliders, after the first bite we noticed the chicken was still raw! They had also failed to give the complete order that was paid for!

I love Long John silver’s! If I have to eat fast food this is definitely one of my go to. It’s the only fish I will eat and their tartar sauces on point. Their drive up could definitely use some work. The reason for the one star is because they are the only restaurant in siouxland that still restricts their hours. Open your doors and Advertise !!

I received a coupon from LJS for BOGO variety platters if you order online. When I ordered online from the Sioux City location, the coupon does not work because this location isn’t participating. I called the store & the manager said she would not honor it that she has no control of online promotions. Then don’t send me the coupon if the only store in my area doesn’t participate. I feel as though the manager should’ve have honored it at the restaurant. Are they not Long John Silvers. Ridiculous!!

I like long John Silver and usually food is great. Have eaten at many and know what it’s supposed to taste like. Unfortunately, they do not at this one. The breading is way too thick, and because of that, it does not get as crispy as it should. I’m sure there is a suggested cook time that they follow, but with breading that thick, it comes out undercooked or very doughy. Just my opinion.
