Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I wasn’t hungry but I wasn’t not hungry so I got a kid’s meal, the coating was crunchy, the chicken was slightly moist, fries were good, gravy was plain in taste but the chicken flavor and the pepper helped it, the apple pie was DELICIOUS WOW PERFECT. Crunchy when you bite into it then you’re encompassed by sugar,cinnamon, and apple. Anyway overall good fast food, and slightly cheap.

Food is okay, drive thru takes forever. Get my food and a “large” fry is less than a small. Won’t be back. The fries in the picture are right out of the bag, that empty is uncalled for and a scam.

Great food, poor customer service and vibe. I ordered food to be picked up. It took three times as long than estimated to receive my food. A bun-less triple meat burger with fries and a half/half tea. Employee didn’t ask if I wanted anything else such as ketchup. The employees don’t seem to care about their work at all. Perhaps it’s time to increase wages and expectations?

Stopped in after work. Ordered large #13 with onion rings. Got home only to find onion rings missing. Drove back. Manager was happy to remake the order and threw in a few coupons. That’s fine, I appreciate it. I should have checked the order before leaving, silly me. One of my chicken fingers was a pathetic nub, and the gravy was absolute water.
