Not usually the type to leave a negative review, but this location messed up my pickup order to an insane degree. Burger was bright pink in the middle, vanilla coke was half syrup, and dessert was literally expired. Probably would have gotten food poisoning if I didn’t cut the sandwich in half, beware ordering from this location if you want an accurate, or even safe meal.

Got in to our hotel and ordered via door dash . We ordered a chicken Parmesan with salad and a chicken friend steak w mashed potato’s and gravy . We received a piece of chicken w Swiss cheese that looked like they scraped it from the trash and a spoonful of noodles . The chicken fried steak was Pattie’s , no gravy no potatoes . Called and manager said nothing she could do . Wasted an hour waiting for this fine feast of a meal

Everybody is kind and friendly, servers are sweet(but a couple love to curse lol). I go to the Covington KY location regularly, unfortunately at times the evening staff is a little slow even when there’s only a couple customer’s. Food is good and reasonable prices. Burgers are good, with fries, I have the 2 eggs/meat often. The chicken tenders are not good (unfortunately). I use to love their Mac/cheese but after being served something that looked the way it did and then reserve the exact same when I send it back, it’s something I won’t get again. Using the rewards program has givin’ me many free meals, I recommend it to everybody, it’s worth it and of course free.

They have Red Gold ketchup which is the ONLY ketchup I eat so I was pleased at first sight. The holiday decorations were superb! The bathroom was clean. Server was pleasant but overall service from the establishment was not good. Not sure why businesses automatically assume you have been there before therefore you know “what to do” when entering the building. This was our very first time patronizing Frish’s as they don’t have them where we live. I walked in and saw the buffet bar and immediately said oh wow you have a buffet. The cashier said yes we have a breakfast bar but it’s only for dine in guests. (should have been a clue that I wasn’t wanted ). I said I am dining in & cool there’s breakfast. She replied no, breakfast is only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Why mention breakfast bar on a Thursday evening? So then she asks a server to seat me and the server replied I’m off the clock sit anywhere you like. Okay so I sit at front table by the cashier as to nit be missed. After a minute or two, a server walks up to me and says (not asks) oh you’re just waiting on your to go meal dear and begins to turn back around. No ma’am I am eating here I say. My friends now come in, they weren’t greeted either. A guest comes in after my friends and he was greeted by a host and seated by a host. The host then says to us, “oh, here’s some menus for you” as an after thought since she was giving the man a menu. Anywho, whatever, we order our drinks, she sits my drink down touching the top, rim area, of the cup (definitely should place a cup on the table with hands around the bottom of cup). We all 3 order food but only two meals come out (and she says she’s not sure which is who’s).She then said oh you wanted extra pickles I’ll bring you a cup (she never did). I said I ordered broccoli as well, she said oh yeah it’s coming. My friend who’s food didn’t come, asked about hers. The server said oh he’s making yours hot (or fresh) 1. as if the cook was doing her a favor 2. So was ours not cooked hot (or fresh)? After about 5 more minutes of waiting, we asked if her order didn’t get put in at the same time. She said that wasn’t the case. After about 3 more minutes, the server brings a sandwich with no fries. The fries are coming. We are like okay this is getting a little crazy. She yells to the cook she’s really mad at me now (in which we’re not) the cook replies well I’m one person, it’s coming. 2 more minutes, server brings out the correct burger & fries.

Hot fudge cake is my absolute favorite. Driving up from Texas and my mind and tummy was eagerly craving to get my Big Boy platter and my true love hot fudge cake. I sure wish you were in Texas. I would definitely be there at least twice a week.
