This place is fantastic. I haven’t had this good of Japanese food since I was in Hawaii. The food is excellent, and if you are a fan of sake their house sake is pretty good too. The interior of the resturaunt is very clean and modern. The service is great and the food is very well priced. The bill for my wife and I to have two meals, two appetizers, and a bottle of sake was only 35 dollars.

Extremely amazing Sushi an Chicken Teriyaki!!! Great service and great food I highly recommend to anyone who loves sushi….there are many different kinds to fit your every taste. My mom went with me and has a broken foot and sprained knew and I had my little boy with me and our waitress went as far as to kindly help my mom to the car when we left. Talk about amazing customer service!!! Thank you so much for the amazing food and great service.

Solid sushi, I realized that the 3 rolls that I ordered were basically shrimp tempura rolls so I need to try more of the menu next time. Very good veggie fried rice! I ordered carryout this time but I’ll eat in the restaurant next time to get the in person experience. It’s good to have places like this in Newton, hopefully they’ll be very successful.

Only in the middle of Kansas would I be questioned what a “Hand roll” is at an ESTABLISHED SUSHI RESTAURANT. It was absolutely absurd – I’m not blaming my waitress who had no idea what I meant as I assume she is from this hick town that does not understand sushi by any means but since it’s such a highly reviewed sushi place I simply thought a popular style of sushi would be offered here.

First time here and it was AMAZING! Great service, ambiance was lovely and the food out of this world!!! I will definitely go back! The price for 3 people to eat, plus beer and saki was under $50 and we couldn’t even finish all of our food! So much food for such a small price! The first two weeks they are open they give 20% off of your meal. Newton needed this! One bad thing was no wine except Saki. A white wine would be nice but the Japanese beer was a delight!

The food was amazing and the service was kinda fast. But I ordered a Pepsi and it was 100% flat. I asked to exchange it, but my server told me (after I’d asked for several other options and was repeatedly told “no we don’t have that…. Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, Cherry coke, coke) that they only had lemonade, ice tea,and hot tea. I ordered hot green tea, and it tasted like nasty dish water. Other than that, it was so good! My plate looked pretty when it arrived. The house salad (dressing) was delicious. And my sushi/sashimi was presented so pretty.

Absolutely LOVE this place. New name same place. Drawing a blank on the old name. Only drawback…nothing but sake and Japanese beer Great for and Sashimi. Like Crunchy shrimp rolls, Tempura shrimp Bento box(it doesn’t come in a box) REALLY GREAT FOOD!
