From the second we walked in I felt a mountain of stares and hard looks my way. The service was horrible, food was completely inedible with the rice being dry and crunchy at 12pm! They had only been open for an hour at that point which was confusing for the lack of quality in their food. The lack of airflow, awful smell, slow and rude service made it hard to find any form of enjoyment here. The entire time we waited for our food (we order it out) I kept catching everyone including staff looking at me constantly. As the only Asian American in the restaurant it was hard to not feel like an outsider and unwelcome here. Saw the positive reviews and good rating so we thought we’d give it a try but never again. Stay away… Don’t get my stared in the horrible parking situation… there are better and cleaner options just down the road!

This little restaurant is a true “mom & pop” find. Do not let the outside of the building fool you, as it is some of the best authentic mexican food that I have had and the prices are amazing. My fiance and I ate for $25 dollars and the portions are huge! Amazing food, good size portions and great prices! We will definitely be going back!

What a wonderful little restaurant! A fairly small menu that’s mostly Mexican with a few American foods (a salad, a club sandwich and a burger) and everything else dowsed in red or green chile.

Convinced we were the only humans in the building, the food was flavorless and cooked weird. I’m sure if you were from another planet they would cook you up a good cuisine. For human standards – subpar.

Delicious sopapillas! Enjoyed the chips and salsa, too!

Popo’s is a hidden gem in Roswell. The food tastes great and the waitresses do a good job. The price is beyond fair and their daily specials are an amazing deal. This place probably has has the best red enchiladas in town. I can’t say this for certain, because I haven’t tried them all, but they definitely have my favorite. Their hours are short, but it makes this place special and ensures they only provide the freshest food.

I have been going here since i was a teenager and absolutely never been disappointed. My favorite is the stuffed sopapilla’s with green sauce. Yummy . My second favorite is the green chili stew.

Above average Mexican food. They should spend just a bit of money fixing up the inside which didn’t have a very inviting feel. I will go back but might frequent the place more often if it had new carpet, paint and they updated the interior design.

Great little cafe. I was very pleasantly surprised by the meal my wife and I received here. The food was excellent and the service was also. It is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to get too. I hope to stop by the next time I go through Roswell.

Ok food, the dining room was really dirty the carpet looked like it was from the 70s and hasn’t been vacumed since the early 90s, the walls were dirty and the tables were sticky, the food wasn’t great but not the worste in roswell.
