Super friendly staff and killer BBQ! Kind of an odd location that shares a building with an all-hours game room out in the sticks but worth the drive. Highlights include the half chicken, moist brisket, and corn fritters (not yet on the menu but the chef was kind enough to provide us samples of his most recent culinary concoction).

The brisket was juicy goodness and it was nice to see sides with a little bit of a twist! The truffle Mac n cheese, Jalepeno corn, and ginormous pork stuffed popper were the bomb! Love a quirky BBQ joint with friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere. I was able to snap a quick pic when I walked in, but didn’t want to intrude on the other clients. Lot’s more to see!

Order at the window when you walk in and they bring you your order. We had chicken plate with a side of brisket. Had the corn and beans as sides. Chicken and brisket were amazing! We’ll go back.

This place is an absolute gem. 3 things about this place 1 the portions more than justify his prices. Most places I can eat a three meat plate no problem. Ordered the two meat plate here and had to ask for a box with plenty leftover to cover dinner so come HUNGRY. 2 when you start enjoying Michael’s BBQ you notice there a lot of love and attention put into his product from smoker to plate (no liquid smoke here it is the real deal!) 3 atmosphere they have put a lot of work into this spot to make it look great! I also really dig the tunes he has playing in the dining room. But don’t just take my word for it come by and try for yourself. I promise you won’t regret it.

AMAZING BBQ! Amazing service! Everything was outstanding and everything I would expect out of Texas BBQ! Meat is moist and delicious, sides are made with care and love! The corn fritters (with pulled pork on them) are my favorite thing, could eat those every day!

The potato salad was my favorite thing I had it was very tasty. I give the restaurant a 3.5. the sausage was ok, I did enjoy them dipped in the bbq sauce. The brisket was pretty dry for my taste but that happens I would try it again. The Mac and cheese was ok. I’ve been here 3 times now the first time was ok the second time I got the brisket stuffed potato and it was phenomenal, I even called to give kudos to the pitmaster. I just ordered from here for the guys I work with and the brisket and ribs were all dry. The brisket tasted reheated, I could be wrong but that’s what it felt like. The second time was 5 stars. The first time was 3 and this time was 1 stars. Best of luck to these people, really nice people and I’m pulling for them but this lunch was just not good.

The flavor was wonderful. Portions were generous but pretty pricey (possibly a future deal breaker). For my taste, the sliced brisket was way too fatty. The meat I did eat was tender and flavorful. I would like to try again and request lean brisket. The mac and cheese was delightful. I would describe the atmosphere as austere. They had some sort of game room connected, and cigarette smoke wafted into the dining area.

Easter Sunday we decided to try this place out. Wasn’t disappointed. Huge portion for the price. You’ll get 2-3 meals out of $25. Definitely going back.
