It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They stay busy pretty much all day long so if you come in our neighborhood please be patient. You will get your food mostly on time and they sometimes give you free courtesy food or drinks! Customer service is young vibrant and mature. Food is GREAT! LOVE YOU WHATABURGER and peeps!

Due to the rise in homeless ppl the restrooms have a pad lock. We stopped here to order food for the ride back home to Houston. For me it was embarrassing cutting in line to announce I have to use the restroom. I had to wait for an employee to come push the code to enter. What a waste of time, and worst me trying to make my child hold her necessities. Food was great but I will not come back to this location.

We were the only ones in line for drive-thru ordering and it was the absolute slowest. It took 15 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries . Honestly, probably wouldn’t go back.

Roaches in food. I was told to call in the morning to speak with management no one answers. I was sick to my stomach. I asked how often does pest control and code compliance come visit and was told once a week.

I like their food but the service could be better. I had ordered the meal using their app (I got a promotional meal earlier), but when I arrived all the staff ignored me for 10 minutes, while there was no line or other customers around. But later one girl who was busy with table service finally asked me if I need anything. All the other guys were not busy as I could notice. After 5 minutes of waiting, I got my order, but then I realized that they forgot to put apple juice in the bag. Ok, it was free stuff anyway, but you should check your order, just in case. The food was well-prepared though and tasty, so the overall experience is 4 stars.

I waited 30 minutes and was told that they had to “cook fresh chicken” I wish they had told me that instead of making me wait ! Smh. I ended up getting a refund.( The manager Angelica / Angela short stalky) Hispanic lady ) was very rude to me and had a nasty attitude! My advice “If you don’t like your job get another one” ! Don’t take out your frustrations on the customers!! Learn how to listen to the customers instead of arguing with them!

This is the only Whataburger I have been to that has been horrible. From the staff to the atmosphere to the location. While taking our order and druggy came in trying to sell stolen Dove soap bars. While taking our order, the clerk stops and starts talking to this person, asking how much. My husband and I are like, ok, wth is going on. The seller says 4 dollars cash. She then asks othe employees for cash. They all say no. She tells him no, but to hang around, she will find some cash. Then she finished taking our order. I am a cancer patient and really was excited to eat at Whataburger before getting admitted to the cancer hospital. Anyway we pay and go sit and wait for our food. They bring out the burgers and side our fries, and onion rings will be out soon. We wait about 5 minutes and begin to eat our burgers. Sides still aren’t out. I ask my husband if I should go up and ask about the. He said no, eat the burger while it’s hot. We finish our burgers and sit there another 5 minutes. Nothing. So my husband goes to the counter and has to wait behind the 3 customers before he can ask about our side. They told him they had forgotten and made some. It would have been nice to eat our meal at the same time. Not coming back to this particular location at all. We will be back to the other locations we frequent. The food, service, and cleanliness are great at those.

This location is absolute trash, worst service ever. Came in around 11pm on a weeknight, for a cinnamon roll and a shake. It wasn’t that busy waited up front 15 mins while the workers just looked around doing nothing.

App orders are ignored and converted to regular orders. Not to mention they consistently get custom orders wrong (also related to not being used to the app I’m sure). Would’ve been better to say they don’t accept app orders instead of making me wait 40 minutes
