We found this place in the middle of SNOVID when all other restaurants were either closed down or the lines were too long. The service was amazing. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was on point. It was a nice experience all the way around, as it was my first time trying Caribbean food.

The place need to fix few things, steak with onions isn’t what you getting it is patty frozen for 11.99 I want the real steak. The pork with rice it was little better but need seasoning the rice wasn’t prepare the way puertoriqueños do. I do recommend sandwich cubano it is good. About the prices I think little high. The place need cleaning but I have to say bathroom was clean and that is plus. The door front it was open , at noon time , if I want heat I can sit down outside and eat. About customer service they really need to work on that . This second time I have go there and the owner and his wife having disagreements and everyone there can heard them. No professional are all . I was disappointed to be there. I hope they can work in few details. Is good to ck reviews and try to used those comments and work little details. Those windows please men pay someone to clean them. Taking long to serve make people to look for those details.

Food had great taste, service left a bit to be desired but all in all great and will definitely will come back. Had service been better we would had given it 5 stars, this is the first restaurant I had fried chicken without it being overly greasy, it was surprising! Really worth trying out.

This was a golden find, as some one who has lived and went to school in Puerto Rico I can say with full confidence that the food here is authentic. One bite and I was transported back to the island. If you are looking for authentic reasonably priced Puerto Rican food, try this place. You will not be disappointed!!!

The best part of this place is their buffet. I love their soup. The atmosphere is like a small restaurant you’d find in any Spanish speaking country.

Place is abandoned, door open restaurant full of trash, looks like homeless people living there.

Today was my 3rd time TRYING to eat here. The 1st time they told my parents and i that they were short on staff and that it would be a while. We waited 45 min and left. 2nd time I went with coworkers but the credit card machines were down. And then today. Showed up at 12pm with 2 coworkers again. Sign said ‘Open’ but NO ONE WAS THERE. NO LIGHTS ON. Tried calling – DISCONNECTED. Idk what’s going on, but I’m done trying.

Did not care for the attitude of the owner. Very, very arrogant and bad service from him. There are plenty of better Puerto Rican restaurants in the San Antonio area. Our waitress was very sweet though and the lady cooking in the back is an amazing chef; but, the male owner has a very disrespectful and arrogant attitude and just because of him we will never be returning.
