Our food was bad, did not/could not eat. No management/ no refund. Table across had drinks looked good. Table under fan on max speed, we watched 3 other tables get seated and moved under the same fan, you will be blown away, must be for the bugs. Place needs a good bleaching. Served warm tap water from sink no ice.

Apps were great, the waitress was amazing. Main course meals were good. It’s nice to be sited along the creek with amazing scenery. I can be loud in there but expected based on concrete floors. Mixed drinks were good and the barkeep can make a requested drink very well if not in the menu. Bathroom faucets do not have much pressure at all so it does take a bit extra to clean your hands. O we all good place and would come back.

Delicious sunset dinner last night @creekhousewtx. First of all not a bad view in the whole restaurant. We didn’t have reservations ahead and the wait for next table was actually faster. From the front hostess to the servers to waiters to final clean up crew, some of the best service I’ve had in central Texas in recent years. And finally the FOOD/DRINKS. Whoever was in the kitchen was doing things RIGHT. Nobody at the table had a bad time, in fact you could argue we over ate by finishing our entire plates. Also my drink was fantastic, my original choice wasn’t going to be ready in time (understandably they were in the middle of making another batch of frozen margs from a long hot tx day of earlier orders), glad our waitress was knowledgeable and gave me the right recommendation.

We’ve been here several times. I’ve gone with my family and with friends. The nachos are enormous and can be shared between at least two for a full meal. The hummus is incredible. The peppers are to die for! I’ve also had the burger, the truffle fries… have never been disappointed with the food. Service is great, atmosphere is hip and trendy with great views. The servers seem to work together if they get busy so you don’t run out of things you need. You won’t be disappointed!

My best friend of 25 years from Dallas came down for a quick visit and we decided to get an Airbnb in Wimberley and explore. We stayed at a updated yet retro – Flora and Fauna – motel walking distance to the Square. We enjoyed sitting outside by the pool drinking our morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Nice spot, service and food is a notch above the rest – not too wild with the ingredients or menu, lots of familiar items, but everything just tasted a little extra inspired to us. Really beautiful place to sit too, neat decorations and building. We appreciated the veggie options and also the ability to have something fresh (cucumber salad was awesome) with a burger / sandwich instead of fries. Portions were filling, but not obscene. Cocktails were delicious and full of flavor. Would definitely come back. $15-20 a plate but well worth it versus other options around the area. Lovely spot. Kudos to the crew running it.
