Tex Kitchen is an awesome place to go eat! Every time we’ve gone I have never been disappointed. I love their Corpus Christi tacos. My aunt bought the corn the other day and I was in love ❤️ I also enjoy how if you get the nachos to-go, they put the cheese at the bottom so the chips don’t get soggy. I am especially happy they have a spot in Mexico Beach. Their food makes us very happy and the cook is a pleasure to be around, very nice

First off, their queso is bomb. It was so good I didn’t even need any meat for my nachos. I got the surf and turf nachos. Didn’t have any expectations and was blown away with how good it is. I typically don’t like shrimp but I got the fried shrimp and it was some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had. The meat was good. I like my meat cooked more of a medium rare, but I understand some restaurants prefer to cook the me a little longer. I will totally order this again but I would add jalapenos to it and I got an extra side of sour cream and a side of hot sauce. Service was great and I really enjoy watching the bridge light up at night while eating my nachos on the bay.

We will not be coming back. We were very disappointed. I got the chicken tacos and my daughter got the chicken and cheese quesadilla. I initially asked for a side of chips and was told that it would be almost $10, at which point I changed my mind. Also, the canned sodas that we ordered were served warm.

Some how this place wasn’t busy on a Friday night. It should be. I had the brisket tacos and my wife had the not your nachos. Both were great. The kids had chicken strips and steak quesadilla. We also had the chips and queso. For tacos it’s a little pricey but we were thoroughly impressed

Hubby and I moved to Florida about a month ago. We had the opportunity to go explore the shops at Pier Park today and decided to grab a bite to eat. We came here from Texas, so of course, Tex Kitchen stood out to us. The food was delicious! You can choose what kind of meat you want on the burrito, we chose carne asada. The meat was delicious and the cornnwas the best I’d ever had! The pico was fresh and delicious as well. We shared all three dishes and left satisfied. The owner brought our food out to us and was very friendly, even making an effort to interact with our 7 month old! We will be back soon!

What’s not to recommend? The food is some of the best you can find in the surrounding area, The owner and staff are some of the best people you’ll meet with their awesome service, the restaurant is ceasar palace clean… did I mention those tacos are seasoned with a flavor that will in your mouth, fried and grilled shrimp is absolutely amazing with dipping sauce that adds that zing A++

This place has the best birria!! I had been craving some for weeks and I went out on a mission in the rain to get some when they were at the Taproom. They were so fast and brought it right out to my car so I didn’t have to wait in the rain. It was still super hot and fresh when I got it home and it was so worth the trip! I’ll definitely be back!
