The Mitchell Show
Ordered the large Chicken Platter with Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens and a Fried Fish Sandwich. The Fried Chicken and the Fried Fish was Bussin’. Not to greesy and the seasoning was perfect. The greens tasted like they came from the can and the Mac & cheese was okay. The Owners were nice and showed good customer service. I also ordered their Blueberry drink which taste like kool aid so we added some country thyme to it and took to the next level lol. Overall I rate it a 4.7/10. If you happen to be in the area; you should go check them out!!

Since the closure of the famous Thomasena Soul Food in northeast went out of business (correct me if I’m wrong), I’ve been seeking for my soul food spot in Philadelphia. Yesterday I had the pleasure to try out Tameka’s Soul Food at the last hour before closing. I was well attended by one of the employees with a warm welcome and smile. She was patient to explain every option available. I was impressed the restaurant still had many options available and still accepting last minute special orders during the hour before closing up. I did ordered a large platter of Turkey Wings, Mac and cheese, and collard greens including a dinner roll.

I got hooked the first time I tasted their delicious Turkey wings platter about 5 months ago… I’m a daily customer at least twice a week always buying a large Turkey Wings Platter with the best vegetables and candy yams…The entire staff are very attractive, pleasant, courteous and friendly… There’s also other selection’s that are just as delicious…My name is Gloria but I’m known as the Turkey Wings Lady ❤️

Horrible. Mac and cheese noodles over cooked, no taste at all. Yams were out of the can. The fish was okay but they got our order wrong with the sides. overall, this was dog food.

I give 5 Stars because… I saw a video with JL Jupiter (YouTube) and he was eating here and he gave such a good review and the food looked so good. So I had to try. They close at 6pm and I called in around 5 ish for pick up… The lady was really nice. I ordered a large fried chix platter /w double Mac they were out of yams (goes to show they must be really good )

Gotta go half way with the review.. customer service is everything… Food was excellent when dad n daughters work.. but the mom attitude is horrible … I spent 120 within two day cause like I said the food was good..but the mom was like I can’t let you go for extra gravy for 50 cents.
