I ordered the pastrami dip, a large fry and large soda. Total came to just under $21. Serving size was big enough for me to have enough leftover for another meal. Everything came out fresh and fast. By the time I filled my soda, they were calling my number to pickup my food. The flavor of the pastrami was delicious, and the fries are potatoey but still crispy. Large fry is more like 2 large fries, but only $1 more than the small, so why not, right?

Words cannot describe how delicious this sandwich is. 10/10 will go again. (P.S. One large fry would be plenty for 2 adults and 3 kids (5 and under).)

Stopped by to eat breakfast on our way back home to Az. It’s been a tradition that we eat pastrami every time we go to LA. The fries and onion rings didn’t have any seasoning. The pastrami needs more flavor, bread needs to be better (maybe toasted), better ranch dressing (doesn’t taste good at all) and portion size was okay. An hour after eating here I got food poisoning and had to pull over. I’m never here again and don’t recommend it.There use to be a really good place called Pete’s pastrami that was the best when we would visit. Unfortunately, they sold the restaurant.

We moved to Washington State 5 years ago, recently returned to visit friends and family, and naturally the Hat was a must eat at place we’ve missed. You guys definitely did not disappoint and we missed that amazing pastrami and chili cheese fries. Keep up the good work we’re looking forward to coming back.

Honestly didn’t know what was good. Went with the world famous pastrami dip sandwich and a order of large fries. $19 bucks but the sandwich has plenty of meat and their was a lot of fries. The pastrami sandwich was excellent the hotter the fries the better. They also have this fries and chilli, pastrami, a pile of tomato and onion that looked awesome. And it’s huge. Maybe next visit.

The Hat offers a lot of menu options, but if this is your first time here, the Pastrami dip is where it’s at. Although the title says “dip”, the sandwich is not really wet. The French roll comes with mustard, pickles, and of course, the thinly cut pastrami …and it’s messy in the best kind of way.

Get the Pastrami Dip and Chili Cheese Fries. Pro tip: the fry portions are HUGE so share or you will have a ton of left overs.
