This was our first time going. Highly recommend this place for the view and excellent food. Everything was very tasty and drinks perfectly mixed. Service as amazing and food delicious and fresh. The waitress very kind and helpful I don’t remember the name of the guy but it was Saturday night. I’d definitely go back to try the rest of the menu. The valet parking , hostess and other employees are all very classy and well trained.

This place is amazing! It’s definitely a place up go for special occasions, due to the price. But the food is insanely good and the view is gorgeous! My husband is one of the best chefs that I know, but I have never had shrimp like the Shrimp Republic. It was juicy, almost like it was injected with butter. There are just no words for the sauce… it is something that everyone should experience at least once in their life. Everything else was delicious too, but I just can’t get over the shrimp!

We celebrated our birthdays here and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the view, to the food, the drinks, our server Vanessa (who was AMAZING), the live piano music, the service, the atmosphere, and even the Valet! It was top notch excellence! The 12oz Filet Mignon was so tender my boyfriend used the back of his knife to cut it and then it just melted in your mouth! Cannot say enough great things! We will definitely be back!!

The view is spectacular, the drinks are great. The food is hit or miss. The carnitas appetizer had so much potential and ended up being greasy and fatty. The crab dip fondue was good but the cheese toasts served with it were not the right fit. Best thing non steak related was the Brussels sprouts. The service was great.

The food was excellent. We had the crab fondue to start which was very good, I had the rack of lamb which was probably the best lamb I’ve ever had. My wife had the quail which was really good as well, and we shared the key lime dessert. Prices were a little high but the food made up for it, service was good and the view was beautiful.

My new husband and I spent the last night of our honeymoon in Corpus Christi. We wanted to treat ourselves so we made one “fancy” dinner reservation. The food here was simply fantastic. The sides seemed expensive, but our server told us they were shareable portions and boy, they weren’t kidding. Everything was perfect and divine. Our server was attentive and we never lacked for anything. They even gave us our first newlywed freebie: a shareable chocolate mousse. The only issue I had was a noisy teenage couple was sitting behind us and they were quite disruptive. But that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
