Ask for Fernando he is a bold and engaging server who made the boldest move I have ever seen. I always go for a NY cut of steak and he says “No, go for our flat iron, you won’t be disappointed.” He was absolutely correct. Edd describes it as a Basic seasoning that has all the flavor of the beef you could want… I agree, not one scrap of fat on the whole cut. Great wedge and Lorenzo adores the French onion soup as his go to appetizer. Fajitas solid, shrimp cooked well. Warm and cozy atmosphere if you are in Eagle Pass, this is worth the trip. The molten lava cake with ice cream is awesome. The strawberry sorbet and cake is light and fluffy like Lorenzo

First time trying this place, not impressed at all. Salmon was fishy in taste and smell was sent back. Shrimp had no flavor/seasoning tasted like boiled shrimp. Ordered drinks long island was just watered down soda with lime, Pina colada tastes like cold ice no flavor. Not worth what you paying for. Staff/waitress was nice and understanding. But not a place I would go back to.

Nicely surprised. Great service and yummy food. Kudos to the chef! Not only the salsa and chips were great, especially the red salsa, perfect flavor and the chips were just like I like them, thin and crispy. But what really really surprised me was the Thanksgiving dinner. Better than La Madeleine, better than Cracker Barrel, and only $12.99, including dessert. Turkey was juicy, stuffing and mashed potatoes with lots of flavor without being salty. The roll was fluffy and just perfect. Again, kudos to the Chef. One more reason to comeback to Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino

Anzul recently opened in the Lucky Eagle Casino serving primarily Mexican food. Their hours of operation are limited. No fancy decor or decoration to define what type of restaurant. Simple successful menu of ten items plus two dessert items. Good variety. Appeal to most people with different palates. The prices are low to moderate. Much lower when we applied our 50% off voucher from the Casino. The waiter was friendly, helpful & efficient. We were guests of our neighbor so we did not pay for our food. The three of us ordered Caldo de Res (Bowl of Soup), Baked Potato stuffed & an Anzul Burger. All enjoyed what we selected. The burger was terrific. A beef thick pattie which was flavorable with cheeses and peppers on a medium sized bun. Also tasted my wife’s stuffed potato filled with Fajitas. So good that will be my menu choice when we return to the Anzul on our next casino run.

Very dissatisfied. It took almost 10 minutes to get a waiter, the lamb was cooked wrong, the thanksgiving mashed potatoes were old, didn’t offer water, didn’t offer a wine list, the food quality was mediocre. It is in a casino, but I expected more.

I ordered the tacos and they were ice cold and very greasy, could not eat them. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas and they where very dry. Our waiter disappeared never to be seen again. The other wait staff even told us no one could find him. When cleaning the tables the staff sprayed the cleaning solution on everything sitting on the table even the salt and pepper shakers. Very disappointing, would not return.

Food on Menu is not properly posted versus what you get. For example you order Rack of lamb and you receive 2 small pieces. And roasted herb chicken with mashpotatos and it shows up with grits. And the best part is the two bills arrive . And we place the right debt in each bill. And she mixes the debt cards on the wrong bills . And has the nerve to blame us…. She claimed to fix it but we both got charged for both bills .
