This was our first time to try this place! We were a party of 7 who ordered a variety of entrees and an appetizer. Literally all of us loved our food! We sat on the upstairs patio and it was such a fun atmosphere! The service was good but very busy. Our food didn’t come out at the same time, but it worked out ok. The fried fish was amazing and the beef was straight from the farm! They offer a great salad bar as a side or entree. On the way out, we ran into Coach Switzer! Apparently it got his approval as well. We will be back!

This is my first time to eat here and I’m very impressed. We arrived just in time to get breakfast. I had the two egg with biscuits and gravy meal and I was surprised to see how thick the eggs were. I mean, instead of a thin flimsy thing this was something you would expect straight from the farm. Our waitress was quick and she kept our coffee cups full.

Good food, great service. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. We sat upstairs this visit after a day at ballgames in 110° so we were tapped out. Ready to eat and get home. We visited with friends, had quick service and the prices for the amount of food we received was surprising. Great value.

I have just moved to Newcastle, Oklahoma. I went to Libby’s for my 70 birthday. The food was fantastic. Chicken fried steak was out of the world. Very tender and overall excellent service. I will be back soon. If you haven’t been there you all need to give it a try.

What an incredible plate of country fried catfish with dem trimmings. Service was seriously outstanding and a very hospitable place to enjoy a meal. Only wish the place was nearer to my home in the oilfields of western Texas.

Wonderful! My family loves coming here and this is now our go-to place for gatherings. The accommodation for groups of 2 to… lots, is just out of this world. The food is very good. Catfish fillets are thin and crispy, just like I love them. The offering of long-neck beers in a bucket of ice are much enjoyed and appreciated. Live entertainment and Karaoke nights. My favorite is the enormous deck outside with a huge covered area. There’s a regular sized bar upstairs that leads out to this partially covered deck area. It is an event unto itself. Many years ago I visited a few times and did enjoy myself. Since then there have been so many positive changes made at Libby’s. It is now kept very clean. The dining areas are well thought out. Downstairs has a Diner kind of feel and there are salad bar times. You walk through this diner type area to a bar atmosphere minus the smell of stale cigarettes. Smoking is allowed outside. Really, you have to go for a visit.

We ordered grilled fish with mango salsa and 8 oz ribeye. Fish is good but Steak is over cooked. Interesting place. Staff are very friendly. Definitely need to go upstairs. We will Definitely go back again.

Wife and I stopped by for her first time and my third time but had been many years ago. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my wife ordered the shrimp. My wife told the waitress that she wanted a piece of pie at the end of the meal. After we finished our meals the rudeness began. We kept waiting for the waitress to bring the pie and our ticket. Finally she showed up and asked if that would be all. I told her she flunked waitress 101. Asked what I meant I told her she forgot the pie and the ticket. There was no management there to lodge a complaint with. If you want good food and don’t mind the entitlement attitude then this place is for you just not me or my wife.

The restaurant food was great, but had a few problems. We entered into bar and had to climb 20 or so stairs to the restaurant itself. They had an elevator, couldn’t find the key and when they did, they couldn’t get it to work. I normally use a walker, but had to use a cane holding on also to a friend, with another behind me in case I fell. Then the piece de resistance, tornado siren. Luckily it didn’t go off til we were through eating our delicious meal. All 15 of us had to go to an area at bottom of stairs, another siren – into bathroom, another – into handicapped stall. Luckily after quite a while, it passed and we could drive back to hotel in storm. Our great server, Shyla, spent the whole time next to us sitting on floor, talking to her mom, and giving us updates. I would recommend Libby’s, and ask for her.
