The atmosphere at Dixie Maid has never been amazing, so I don’t think that category really applies here. Many years ago they use to have a Galaga video game that my husband and kids played all the time, but it’s been gone for a while. Now, the food is another story. It’s that cheeseburger, fries and soda that is consistently delicious. I use to get the fried shrimp and fried rice, but there was always too much grease floating at the bottom of the rice and I couldn’t eat it anymore. My husband still enjoys the double cheeseburger and the steak sandwich.

Brought back memories to eat at Dixie Maid. I remember getting ice cream cones back when I lived in the neighborhood. But this time I ordered a double cheeseburger and ate the whole damn thing since it was really good. And it’s a big burger guys. I also ordered onion rings which were big and crunchy but would have been better with ranch. Although without ranch I figured out how good onion rings are with ketchup try it!!! my cousin ordered a root beer float and we shared it. Definitely should have ordered two separate ones sooooo good.
